- With the new turret buff for the coming new patch, let's test out how effective are the A1 and A2 bombs against those deadly bunker turrets.

The reason you couldn’t put the weapon on the A2 is the weapon itself is destroyed you see the empty bar above the name of the weapon that’s the durability bar you can’t put broken weapons back on hard points after the break

Well that's it then - I'll need to upgrade from A1 to A2 when Invictus rolls around
Both A2 and A1 has the same mechanic for locking and deploying bombs. You don't have to point your nose to your target once it's locked. Fly high and straight and RELY ON YOUR BOMB HUD! You need to fly decently high to avoid damaging your ship from the shockwave.
The bomb sights seem terribly inaccurate currently due to the bombs having weird physics, hopefully they'll get fixed soon.
The bomb sight makes absolutely no sense lol. AGM, Bombs and such will need some military experts to weight in and really teach those devs a bit.
Watching your videos is more fun to even play the game by your self . It’s always the same since years. Thinking about playing SC and actually playing it. 😂

The A1 seriously needs a second shield, lol. It doesn't seem to be faring well at all with the upgraded turrets.

The turrets are getting buffed.
Use the A2 from a much higher altitude as the bombs just drop and range should not be an issue from like 6 or 7 kilometers?
Maintain your approach speed when dropping the bombs this will help keep the accuracy of the drop timing.
Maybe take a dragonfly down the elevator of the bunker. lol

My ship and body despawn ln the 8 minutes it takes me to fly back, but turrets wont reset after all that.

So. Did you know...you can CATCH a liave bomb with a tractor beam? Yop.
...then you tractor it downstairs to inside the bunker and drop it, you can usually make it out alive if you near the elevator. Ish.

you fly way to low for bombing :D i am able to kill all turrets with one bomb in the a1 and i dont take any damage at all

What's a good height for A1 bombing ? I haven't played my A1 much for bunker running since the bunkers are buggy with the elevators in 3.22. BUt i will get back to it when bunker running is fixed.
@@NL0Gwenster i dont know the exact number but i always fly so high that the bomb cant hurt my ship even when im directly above it.
Awesome content! What's the best approach now then if you don't have a bomber? Are ground vehicles like URSAs, Novas and STVs the way to go? Assuming hover bikes have a much higher detection range. Like that it makes for more of a combined arms approach. Might actually end up using some of my ground vehicles at last.
Best approach: ground vehicles, from a PTV to the NOVA.
My approach is 4 AD5Bs + 2 AD4Bs.
If I am accurate, I can put down 4 turrets in 2 to 4 passes without the Corsair getting damaged.
I haven't even tried putting more power into a front shield
Corsair melts any stuff with its unbeatable 11k DPS

He isnt holding the red circle on target. His accuracy is bad. He can also que up multiple bombs.
Which is used for targeting? The red circle or green?
@@KAMAKAZI_MW The green indicator is the proposed target. the red indicator is where the bomb will land based on your current alt, heading, and speed (while bomb is in flightit is affected by wind). also you can dumb fire without setting a target, in that case you would just point the red circle at your target and fire.

I don't think this dude @chipanda3814 really knows how to bomb but knows well how to accuse others of bad accuracy. You drop when you see the green dot goes to the middle of the circle. And que up multiple bombs are useless for this as they have a long delay in between.
@@KAMAKAZI_MW you want both circles to be lined up. you'll notice if you roll slightly, the red will be off center. if the circles aren't lined up, the bomb will land somewhere in between.
I would like some more context sometimes. Did they change anything about the bunker turrets?

There is a keybind for Missile Cam. Its not bound by default.

I tired before, it is difficult, but size 9 if you hit, it will take it out, but I miss a lot of times

I think they need to work on the accuracy of the A1 bombing system, Foxy. I don't think it was just you. I'm having issues, hitting practice targets.

If a turret is destroyed it should stay destroyed for days, a bomb would not just destroy the turret but the system it sits on and whatever is below and next to it.

There is a keybind for Missile Cam. Its not bound by default.

I wanted to love the A1 but it’s just not what they promised. You should be able to carpet bomb at least 2 bombs at a time. Right now, there just isn’t a good reason to ever pull an A1 over the A2.

Its cool, and totally not scammy, how they sold all those A1's to us right before nerf'ing them with the turret buffs.
This was a lack of pilot skill and know how not a ship problem.
@@rooster1012 I didnt claim it couldnt be done. I claimed it was a nerf. A lot of times when you drop them out of turret range they just despawn before exploding. So you have to get close enough to get shot. Therefore, buffing the turrents was a nerf.
If you know something else that I dont I'd love to learn. hmu in game and I'll go on a ride along with you or something.
