Great video bud really enjoyed it and that river holds some really nice fish and I am going to be given them gulp minnows I always fly fishing for the trout in my local river and thanks for sharing big like from me bud tight lines and catch you on the next video 👍🇮🇪🤝
Awesome..as soon as I saw the drone shot I was wondering if you were on the Lehigh..then I saw the bridge..lol.. haven't been there in over 20yrs..thx for bringing back memories..gonna get some gulp
The regular TM jig head works. In small streams try the mini magnet 1/200 jig with 1" gulp minnow. Sometimes I have used 2 heads. Also the mini magnet jig with 1" minnow on a fly rod. These gulp baits are devastating.
Sorry for asking! What state are you in?? I live in Michigan! I gorilla glue, those green scrubber's for dishes to the bottom of my wadders boots! No slip on moss rocks! Awesome fishing river!!!
@18:26 That looks exactly like the fin clip of a hatchery fish. It'll be a different fin depending on stocking year or release site, age-class, kinda thing. Checking for dorsal fin erosion should also provide a clue, as well as a blunt nose with possible white scarring. Where I fish, every adult landlocked salmon has one of these pelvic fin clips which shows that they're not self-sustaining.
Great catches of trout Kevin!! Beautiful brook trout!! Mixed with some beauties brown trout. Are you sure you’re in the Lehigh River,Lol. Pretty small stretch of the river. Great job Kevin 👍👍
I’ve been fishing a lot this summer at a local stocked lake in BC 🇨🇦. I just got a jar of these minnows ! I love using a light Carolina rig for lake trout. Do I have to use a jig head or can I use a regular hook, since I usually use berkley power bait. ?
I don't usually use floats while trout fishing. Whatever makes you feel confident. I was using a 1/32 oince jighead. Mule fishing makes the best jigheads in my opinion. Thanks for watching!
Good variety of catches with the gulp minnow. Exceptional lure for trout. I use it a lot
That's great, thanks for tuning in!
My most favorite way to catch trout. SO much fun.
I agree Travis, thanks for watching!
Gulp minnows catch everything. Great video!
You got that right!
This is my go to trout bait. I like to use a split shot about 8 inches above the minnow and let it drag across the rocks.
The intro music selection with the drone footage was quite serene. Definitely enjoy the drone shots at the areas you fish. Great catches!!
I'm glad you enjoyed it. I appreciate the support.
Fishing adventure I was able to catch some really nice trout. I fished the lehigh river for the first time. Thank you everyone for all the support!!!

I used those gulp minnows for trout too! They work great!
That's awesome, thanks for watching!

Gulp! works everywhere everyday
Nice vid🎉
Thanks Leo!
Congratulations on hitting the first big milestone of 1,000 subscribers!!! Great job! 😁🎉
Thank you so much!!
I’ve caught many Bluegills with these also. Very, very light weight works best.
Right on, thanks for watching!
Sidebar: imagine fishing in America with modern gear/ tackle but in like 1800. Wow!
Another great video!!! 🎣🎣🎣
Thank you very much!
Try the 1 inch Gulp minnows(they are sold in a little jar)on a trout magnet jighead.
I like using the 1 inch for native brook trout. Thanks for watching!

try setting it up with a trout magnet jig head and under a float
Best river fishing way tired of wasting time redoing your rigs
And then ad a worm and some velveta cheese

I'm in Pennsylvania, that is a brilliant idea!
@@reelextremefishing thanks I learned that one in the marine corps (Okinawa) hate them slimy rocks!
@@reelextremefishing do you have salmon as well! Michigan has a little of everything! Even sturgeon!

Very interesting thank you.
I'm gonna be fishing a tiny little creek. What size gulp minnow and what size jighead. Thanks for sharing!
I would use 1/64 ounce jighead, 1 inch or 2 1/2 inch gulp. Good luck!
Iv always used gold spinners or kleos I use to live over in mt cobb caught a lot of trout in th pines😮
You could never go wrong with a gold spinner.

Definitely one of the smaller stretches of the river. Thanks for watching my friend!
Best bait for trout. I tell everyone.. Wal Mart is a one stop shop. No fancy jigs or minnows from these UA-camrs that are trying to sell you.
I agree, thanks for watching!
Looks like a nice spot! ;)
You're gonna get me in trouble!😆
@@reelextremefishing I live around where you film.
I like to geolocate.

It depends on the type of fishing you are doing with gulp. On a carolina rig, just a hook. Anything else I would use a jighead.
@@reelextremefishing thanks !
My go to lure
Thats awesome, thanks for watching!
I am beginner but do we need a float for fishing trouts in river? Also what king of weight did you attach near the bait?

When are you supposed to cast upstream vs downstream ?
I generally cast upstream. Whenever possible you wanna wade upstream. Less likely to spook the fish.
No weight sometimes. Just hook
