Great explanation....i enjoyed watching. If possible could you a video from rudder pedals to rudder attachments and how tail wheel steering possible.... a bunch of thanks.
I just stumbled on a couple of your build videos and plane details, my first question after watching you assemble the hinges on the ailerons and the control system to the aileron, is why don't the plans call for nylon bearing shoulder washers for non metal to metal contact, at points that pivot. A threaded bolt as a hinge pivot part direct through metal brackets would concern me as this would cause wear. Nylon or better yet Delrin shoulder washers as pivot bearings would be ideal. Just an observation and something I would upgrade to to keep things tidy and more worry-free.
8:40 If the cable has equal tension towards 9 o'clock (270 degrees) and 6 o'clock (180 degrees), then that stainless pulley support would like to be at 7:30 o'clock (180+45=225 degrees). Qualification: My girlfriend says I'm a know-it-all, had an "Erector Set" as a child, and I'm an "armchair UA-cam critic and builder." Never mind me, just trying to add to the discussion.
I just subscribed and am your 800th subscriber. I think this build series is great, and I think I’m going to build one of these. If I have any questions along the build process would you be willing to answer my questions?
I have built and rebuilt many a car and motorcycle over the years but I think that I would much rather purchase one of these already put together than attempt to build one myself.
If a picture is worth a thousand words... excellent video, terry.

It looks like if you move the aileron, the elevator will move a little as well.

Do you know of anyone that has developed a fording wing? I have a Champ and Onex in my hangar.
Some are working on that, I have not seen one in person.
Can you help me to join on your what's up
Terry, Its a little sketchy, if you can have an A&P inspect before you go further. Most of all please be careful up there
