But i think the front part of the shoe too ''stiff'' to perform activity that lead to toe breaking, like snatching. So it leaves a mark or scuff in the front part if you use it for the long run. But overall, it's really incredible shoe. Trust me.
Yo man! Yeah, I completely agree with that. Compared to other lifters, the Adipowers synthetic leather material is definitely on the stiffer side. Although, what did you think about them after about 2-months of breaking them in? I thought that was the sweet spot for comfort and not being too stiff. - Jake

You know, it's weird. They're not a color that has that immediate draw, but they do grow on you. Plus, it's a great color for hiding scuffs and scratches! - Jake
This was a great review. Picked up one of the last Trace Cargo pairs in size 9.5 for $48. Glad to hear they haven't changed anything since my red/black pair that I bought in Jan 2016. Got these as a replacement for when the red/black wear out. Wish I bought when black/black was on sale!

Dynamic Fitness Equipment has size 9.5 (my size) for $116.95. So I bought it from Dynamic Fitness Equipment and did a price protection claim with Citi, using Amazon's lower price.
got 2 black/red pairs on ebay for $80 new with box in size 8 and 9.5 Keep your eyes peeled for deals since those size ranges are mad expensive and definitely size down. 9.5 is my adidas running shoe size and was too much toe room. I should get 8.5, but I fit in 8 and the shoe has stretched out. I do like the responsiveness with tight shoes for squating and no sliding inside the shoe when benching, so I may just stick to 8. Eye hole issue: I didn't see it as an issue as I make full use out of the last hole. The reviewer here didn't have a tight fitting shoe to begin with, so the lacing can only give so much of a precise fit. Skip the second to last hole when lacing up to the fifth hole, then loop back through the second to last hole (from outside to inside) before crossing laces over to tie. This fifth hole now locks in the tightness and tension from the bottom of the shoe while you tie down and the ankle circulation/comfort isn't compromised from using the higher hole. Before this adjustment I kept losing tension throught the first holes when tieing and only made the middle and top too tight by yanking on the laces. The straps will fall into place and do more to keep that heel in the back of the shoe. Feels like a glove and couldn't agree more with the reviewer and his high praise. Glad I didn't have to pay $200 because I would have never experienced them. I would like to try the original red first gen models that exclusively sport an extra hole next to the weightlifting tag at the front. All later shoes forego these holes for some reason, even newer red ones. I feel that there is too much tension running through that little tag alone, but that may have been a strategy to compromise the durability and get repeat buyers since the shoe is a tank otherwise. lol The Nike Romaleos 3 have horrid longevity reviews and the reduced prices off of MSRP reflect this lower price tag than used Romaleos 2.
Great descriptive review! Also, nice shout out on the eye hole issue in paragraph 2. Yeah, the Rom 3s are not the most durable model around, but they can last if you give them some extra attention when putting them on/taking them off. Bless anyone who can find cheap Rom 2s! - Jake
The Adipowers production have pretty much come to a halt - from what I understand. We have good word that the Adipowers 2s will be released sometime this spring/summer. - Jake
hi, are you familiar with Power Perfect's? They don't feel tight enough overall and especially in the heel area (it is wobble no matter how tight I lace the shoe). Are these better in this regard?
The Adipowers have a pretty slim fit. If you're worried about total tightness of the shoe, then I'd say reach for a 1/2 size down in the Adipower. - Jake

I was trying to buy the old white color because I didn’t like the new green color. But after this video they grew on me.
