It's a beautiful day up here in Ottawa, Canada. I was even out this afternoon washing my car by hand. Who'd of thought that would have been possible in Canada in February. I was in Palm Springs in 2010 when I visited my sister, she lives in Moreno Valley, we took a quick tour of the Walk of Fame and I remember seeing a statue of Sonny Bono and we ate at California Pizza all new experiences for me because that was my first time in California. Hoping to go back again sometime.

I worked at UCLA back in the 80s and 90s and we always used to go to Westwood for lunch and get falafel. I can’t remember the last time I had one. Yours looked really good. 😋 I’m starting to regret that we didn’t look at Palm Springs as a retirement destination, but at least I get to live through it vicariously with your videos ❣️🥰💕🙏🏻

Thanks Joplin. It turned out that it was one of my prescription eyedrops that was causing the redness. It was the xxydra which is supposed to get rid of dry eye, but it gave me super redeye lol! 😳 once I stop using that my eyes got back to my normal red! 😆
This is what I love about your channel. That greek restaurant, which Ive been by a few times, looks delicious! And the price is right! Will have to try. Also, the AC visitor center is on my bucket list, not just to see the museum but to be at the site of the original "spring" in Palm Springs.
HOLY COW!! Maybe it's where I live, but the only way 4 people are going to eat for $65.00 is AT HOME!! Your grandson and his boyfriend are absolutely adorable (the memories of young love!!). Hi Steve. Loved the video as usual. I was watching your video and on HGTV they were showing My lottery dream house. Just so happens this lady was looking for a house in Palm Springs. They were showing some shots around Palm Springs and one of the houses was one that you had shown us on one of your recent walk abouts. It's the one that they were renovating. The lady first looked at a house built by Albert Fray. Not sure about the spelling. He was known for what they called desert modernism. They eventually decided to go with a house in Palo Verde. I was just waiting for you to walk by in one of the shots. lol

The more I watch your videos about Palm Springs, the more I want to live there. The snow on the mountain range is beautiful against the palm trees and such. I find it interesting too that you have a grandson. He and his boyfriend are a cute couple. If it's not too personal, am I correct in assuming you were married at some point to a female and you had kids who now have kids of their own given your grandson looks alot like you? Did you come out later in life? Not to intrude but I find stories of men who led a "straight" life then came to live their true self afterwards of interest. I'm somewhat in the same boat.

HOLY COW!! Maybe it's where I live, but the only way 4 people are going to eat for $65.00 is AT HOME!! Your grandson and his boyfriend are absolutely adorable (the memories of young love!!). I just want to say, being vegan or vegetarian, whichever he practices, very much agrees with him (either that, or it's that young love thing again!!).
I agree Derek, I don’t think I’ve ever gone out to breakfast or lunch in Palm Springs with four people and paid under $100 and of course dinner would be much more. 😳👍

Great video Steve! I really enjoyed going on the tour with you all. However I don’t know if you remember or not about my question about watching the ads linked to your videos, but tonight I had one that was seven minutes long and two others that were over 2.3 minutes. Needless to say I deleted the ridiculous long one, but still felt guilty. Your channel is worth my time to watch so I do normally watch most of them. I just wanted to share this with you.

Hi Steve. Loved the video as usual. I was watching your video and on HGTV they were showing My lottery dream house. Just so happens this lady was looking for a house in Palm Springs. They were showing some shots around Palm Springs and one of the houses was one that you had shown us on one of your recent walk abouts. It's the one that they were renovating. The lady first looked at a house built by Albert Fray. Not sure about the spelling. He was known for what they called desert modernism. They eventually decided to go with a house in Palo Verde. I was just waiting for you to walk by in one of the shots. lol
Hi Dale lol I would have loved to of seen them film that episode. I will have to look for it. I have watched that show in the past, but we don’t watch it regularly like we do house hunters. Modernism week in Palm Springs starts next week and Marcia and I already have our tickets to see Albert Frey’s famous and historic home on the hillside up above the Palm Springs museum. The more I watch your videos about Palm Springs, the more I want to live there. The snow on the mountain range is beautiful against the palm trees and such. I find it interesting too that you have a grandson. He and his boyfriend are a cute couple. If it's not too personal, am I correct in assuming you were married at some point to a female and you had kids who now have kids of their own given your grandson looks alot like you? Did you come out later in life? Not to intrude but I find stories of men who led a "straight" life then came to live their true self afterwards of interest. I'm somewhat in the same boat.

On camera, you guys always seem so opposite in everything you like to do, what you like to eat, where you like to go, etc. Has there ever been a situation in your relationship where you two had a downright fight/argument ? If so, how was it resolved ? Also.....are you & Jim Super Bowl fans (do you invite friends over and have a party, watch it quietly between just the two of you, or couldn't care less), and if so, I presume you both want the 49ers ?
