I was in the ground in Hyderabad in Jan this year for the test match against England which eventually Eng won. There was so much spin in the match but one thing I really enjoyed was watching Mark Wood bowl. He bowled with pace with a good run up. Enjoyed his spell on that final day
Shame that Anderson fella wasnt available.
He looked pretty useful in that last test.
well actually he didnt look that useful m8 not even the most useful bowler england had at lords it was gus atkinson and in this test match it was the spinner bashir 🤔 I mean when you posted your original comment it was almost as if you thought that england could not cope vs west indies at home without jimmy anderson🤣 the fact of the matter is anderson and broad were england best two ever bowlers in test match cricket but they can not carry on forever tho can they the key word is were ok they were both two of the best bowlers of all time however I think we can move on from them now personally they can not carry on forever it is what it is really🤔
I would love to see how much long mark wood lasts in 5 match test series the ashes down under with this pace and high summer temperatures in australia.
He’ll be 36 as well, people are overlooking the fact that he may not even be around for the ashes
@@rihitjamb3757 ecb defo want him around, 3 year contract- i hope he's around for that long
@@willkirkup2311absolutely...the speed at which he is bowling is just insane...156kmph...avg speed 152-153 kmph...wow..
Big fan of Naseer Hussain Sir from India...
Who is Naseer Hussain?
Are you getting Nas n Butch mixed up mate?
@@hsquaretim4272Mr Burns
That’s mark butcher fella 😅
@@alextv293 I know mate...In this conversation Nasser Hussain is absent and I like the way he explain things so I just remind them...that's all...
They all look more comfortable when they sit and talk. Standing looks awkward
Mel Jones is simply brilliant, Athers is a great anyways!
@@InSoloDeo Why do you need to make that comment? Ironically you're making a bigger deal out of it than you want too. Plus she's played more international cricket than you have
@@InSoloDeoShe is there because she is good. DEI has nothing to do with it.
@@InSoloDeo International test century. Been commentating on international cricket for over 15 years on both radio and TV. But yeah, it must be for DEI.
Atherton and Hussain are the two best commentators / presenters / travellers / storytellers for sky cricket
So interesting always and no bias unlike bob willis , Ian botham , David Lloyd
Ian ward and butcher are a bit boring
Whose chair was creaking?
How come you guys post about day 1 and day 3 where England has done well and not about day 2 where windies had done well
It's an English broadcast! On an English sport channel, in England. Hahaha puff!
@@markrutherford6507 sooo its not Eng vs Eng Pufff
Because windows crashed globally lol. They mention it at the start
1:50 who does Butch say was the fastest bowler he faced? Played for Somerset…?
Adrian Van Troost ... Quit cricket @ 26 due to a bad back. he was FAAAST
@@Sree99441 thanks!
@@Sree99441 Andre not Adrian.
@@Sree99441did he used to bowl faster than even Brett Lee and Shoiab Akhter....
@@robcoates I stand corrected . 😃
Best commentators:-
Ian smith
Ian bishop
Atherton
Hussain
Ravi Shastri
Ravi shastri do me a favour 😂
Mark howard
Nice
Why not bazzball work against Australia and India?
Well yeah they are the 2 best sides. Shot selection will have to be on point against them not trying to hit everything.
Drew series vs Australia, beat India in England
@@griff8578series was 2-2 mate, cope harder
@@younglampost1058 4-1 in 2018, 2-2 in 2022. Has worked to some degree, no?
@@griff8578 2018 was way pre bazball
Why is there a n Australian woman commenting on men’s English cricket
For a neutral perspective, the gender is immaterial.
She is a cricket commentator; gender and nationality has got nothing to do with it.
@@pauljohnson4539 dream on pal
Because she’s a phenomenal commentator and has been a feature of Sky Sports’ home summer team for at least 2 years.
@@sonnyrust8479 phenomenal is a bit of an exaggeration
Funny how Butch or Athers didn’t ask her who was the fastest bowler she faced 😂
