They should have called the category "seeking revenge" as its characters looking for revenge, and not currently in the situation as its happening. Though I will agree with it being dumb LR Mecha Frieza and king cold not being there.

It's called revenge not avenge. The defention of revenge is getting payback for something done to you specifically while avenge is something done to someone else. Its because by the defention of revenge their using king cold himself isn't out for revenge. If you google the defention of revenge the first defention is getting payback for wrongs done to you. Avenge is essentially revenge but also for wrongs done to some else.

Being_Bad_At_Videogames Cooler didn’t give af about Frieza dying. Watch the movie. He went to fight Goku because the only person close to cooler in strength was Frieza at the time. When Goku beat Frieza he saw Goku as a treat and went to fight him to get rid of him. Nothing to do with revenge.

Cell himself does not have anything to settle with Goku or the others before he exloded. I think the thing is, there's a distinction between "Revenge" and "Avenge".
Revenge by Dokkan's definition being something that a character has to contemplate and anticipate over a long period of time after being deeply wronged directly.
So any instantaneous retaliation spurred by another person's death would probably be under Explosion of Anger or Revenge.
then why is android 16 on the category after all it's not like goku directly wronged him in fact they literally met for the first time at the cell games
The goku from future saga where he gets angry at black and zamasu when they told him what they did to him and chichi and goten he wanted to get revenge on both of them thats why str blue goku should be on the revenge category
LR Mecha Frieza and King Cold shouldve been on this category too, and this is one of the more obvious ones why. Its literally frieza coming back with his daddy for revenge on Goku and the Z fighters.
