Oh Man! That looks delicious. I doubt I'd attempt this one in any gluten free loaf but I'd throw it in a little baking dish for sure. What could be better than melted cheese with bacon.

Lol I just fed mine on the weekend. You only need to feed them like ever 5 months or so if you don't use it all the time steve I found out. Just keep it in the fridge :)
Mine is in the Fridge Angie, Fast Asleep. It has been a long time since I used it and it might need freshening up a little. Not that I plan using it too soon but I really must. I love sour dough, but I have been doing so many other breads recently. Steve

HELP! Please can u help? This is a yeast question....some sites you divide the fresh yeast by half, to get your dry active weight, some say divide by 3. And also, what's the difference between dry active and instant ? Cheers x
MARIA JOANNOU Not a lot Maria, Instant needs not activation, some dry actives need a little soak in a drop of warm liquid to wake it up. Fresh yeast also needs some waking up.
