I think there are some circumstances where it's acceptable for fallen pastors to be restored as a pastor again, I think there are some circumstances where it's acceptable for fallen pastors to be restored as pastors again after a significant amount of time of them not being pastors, not being in ministry, etc, and I think there are some circumstances where fallen pastors should never work as pastors ever again for the rest of their life. Pastors that molest children, rape people, take advantage of elderly people, abuse vulnerable people, steal thousands of dollars from people, commit fraud, etc should never work as pastors ever again for the rest of their life. Pastors that commit adultery need to be held accountable for what they did and receive an appropriate punishment for what they did. Adultery is a sin. I tend to err on the side of restore to the church but not to leadership. I agree with your perspective. Even watching pastors getting remarried 1, 2 and 3 times is not on. (Due to divorce)
That’s why I like your videos. You said it was a longer video. But it didn’t feel like it at all. It may sound kinda silly, but I feel like I’m actually there with you as I watch.
I will never forget as long as I live... how it felt as a child in Sunday school, when they told us our teacher and song instructor would not be returning due to the fact that she ran off with the worship leader in the church and got married. They were both married with 4 young children of their own on each side and were my friends in class. Their families were considered among the eldership there and highly esteemed as well. I suppose if I had to describe it.. it felt as if someone died and left a wound that I could not reconcile at that age. These people were, in my view the greatest examples of people who loved God and would never do such criminal behavior. Then, adding insult to injury, they went to the next town over and began leadership roles in the local church there, not skipping a beat. At a young age, I realized for the first time that things were not well in Christendom. How could this happen? How could others let this happen! Leadership who do such things have no idea the amount of damage they cause. People that do this kind of sh*t should be in jail as far as I'm concerned. Fake Christianity has taken over America, and the chickens have finally come home to roost. I'm not sorry one bit!
I think Jim Bakker was great when he came out of jail. Where he is now is a bit weird in my opinion. He appears to not be very discerning about who he brings on his show and he still loves the lime light. I preferred the Jim that just came out of jail.
It would not be that hard for her to go to the conference's and he tells People that she is his granddaughter and nobody Would think twice about her going to his hotel room or going out to eat
Being a "Pastor" in the hierarchical sense is not just wrong-it’s a direct violation of Jesus' teachings in Matthew 23:8-12. Jesus makes it clear: "You are not to be called Rabbi," for all are equal under one Teacher. By taking on titles like "Pastor" and lording authority over others, you are engaging in spiritual adultery-elevating yourself in a way Christ explicitly forbids. Just as adultery betrays the covenant of marriage, calling yourself "Pastor" betrays the priesthood of all believers, creating a false system of spiritual superiority that denies the humble servanthood Christ demands. Jesus condemned the Pharisees for seeking titles and positions of honor, and modern "Pastors" fall into the same sin, placing themselves above others in God’s household. This is no different from betraying a sacred trust-an act of pride and deception that draws people away from the true headship of Christ. Like adultery, this false authority seduces believers into dependence on men rather than the Spirit, corrupting the very fabric of the Church. It’s time to tear down these false structures and return to the equality, humility, and brotherhood Christ called us to.
Simply untrue. 1 Timothy 5:17-20 [17] Let the elders who rule well be considered worthy of double honor, especially those who labor in preaching and teaching. [18] For the Scripture says, “You shall not muzzle an ox when it treads out the grain,” and, “The laborer deserves his wages.” [19] Do not admit a charge against an elder except on the evidence of two or three witnesses. [20] As for those who persist in sin, rebuke them in the presence of all, so that the rest may stand in fear. Hebrews 13:17 [17] Obey your leaders and submit to them, for they are keeping watch over your souls, as those who will have to give an account. Let them do this with joy and not with groaning, for that would be of no advantage to you. Ephesians 4:11-16 [11] And he gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the shepherds and teachers, [12] to equip the saints for the work of ministry, for building up the body of Christ, [13] until we all attain to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to mature manhood, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ, [14] so that we may no longer be children, tossed to and fro by the waves and carried about by every wind of doctrine, by human cunning, by craftiness in deceitful schemes. [15] Rather, speaking the truth in love, we are to grow up in every way into him who is the head, into Christ, [16] from whom the whole body, joined and held together by every joint with which it is equipped, when each part is working properly, makes the body grow so that it builds itself up in love.

I imagine that must have been a very difficult thing to deal with. I’m sorry 😞
Well said. Very well said! ❤
Thank you 😊
God did amazing things in Jim Bakers life after his fall.

@@regine3147 It does seem that he is still chasing after this worlds approval. If God brought him back once He can do it again.

Well said Brother.
I wouldn’t attend a church of a fallen pastor. I’m not judging, just implementing my free will to choose another church that I have vetted.
We all should act carefully when deciding to join a church.
@@coltonyarbro I wish you lived in my city so I could check your church out. Thanks for making great content brotha 🤝
I think it depends on the situation. For example Mike Bickle, Robert Morris - absolutely never ever. A situation like Matt Chandler possibly.
Right. I think there are still a lot of unanswered questions regarding Matt C. But it seems to be a different situation than adultery.
Delete him Steve Lawson
Gordon MacDonald is an example of a pastor who returned to ministry the right way.
Never heard of him but I’ll check it out.
@@coltonyarbro his book "Ordering Your Private World" is excellent.
