When I go to work I take my phone and my Kindle or a book. Although I've been taking my Steam Deck recently since I'm grinding Tekken combos. On the weekends I like to put a couple of books I'm working on into one of those drawstring gym bags and go read at my local university library or student center and then walk around for a bit.
Love your bag and love the Lamy pens! The only thing is that I don't like bags with buckles--I find them frustrating when I want to access something quickly, so I am forever searching for the perfect bag! I also carry a mini-crossword book with my pens for when I don't want to read but I want to occupy my brain for awhile.
Thanks for sharing your EDC. I typically carry a NutSac Satchel 13 for my bag. In it I have my Bible which will rotate between an LSB, NKJV and an NLT they may be compact versions or Thinlines. I will have the current book or books I am reading. Right now our men’s group is reading Knowing God by J.I. Packer. I carry a small leather notebook that I write down prayer requests in. I sometimes carry my iPad Mini. I usually have my AirPods. I am an Apple nerd. I will keep various cables for the various devices in the bag. I typically carry a spare battery pack to charge my stuff if needed. I carry some personal items. I always have a flashlight, a Swiss Army knife, a small boo boo kit, lens wipes, a Tide Pen because I am a slob when I eat. That about sums it up.
My EDC is quite similar; though, my computer is a Surface Pro 7, my journal and planners are carried in two Traveler's Company Traveler's Notebooks, and my go-to Bibles are the Judson Press KJV rebound by Full Cup Bibles (same size as a PSQ, but much older), and CSB Verse By Verse Wide Margin rebound by For the King Trading Company. Other than that, I also keep my pens (my favorite fountain pen right now is a Pilot Kakuno; it's considered a starter pen, but it writes like a champ. In fact, its fine point nib writes smoother than my much more expensive TWSBI) and a basic first aid kit. I carry it all in a leather satchel that was my Dad's when he was in ministry.
@coltonyarbro I ordered one from Jetpens, but ruined it trying to modify it. My second one (the one I use now) I found at Barnes and Noble. They're cheap(ish, for a fountain pen), like around $20.
I read through the confession devotionally throughout the year. The catechism I do with my family during family worship. I’m also teaching on the confession at my church on Sunday nights and use resources like Jim Renihan’s book to help me to a deep dive.
ESV Alpha is a great EDC Bible! 😊
Well done sir.
lol...LOVE THIS VIDEO...SIMPLE BUT PRACTICAL THINGS...

Great video! Can you also include link that edition of the 1689 with the catechism? Thanks!

Nice! I’ll have to check out that Pilot pen!

Great video! You mentioned that you type up your outline in Logos. Do you preach from Logos?
@@ironnman67 yes
LOL we practically have the same kit down to the Lamy 2000. Though I just use plain old Noodler's Red/Black.
Hello! Can you share a link for that oxblood ink for the Lamy 2000? Also wondering if Lucky T is taking orders. Thanks!
Ink amzn.to/3YPxoOC
He may be taking orders. I linked his FB in the description.
@@coltonyarbro Thank you. I sent an FB message his way. Have a blessed Sunday. My wife and I fellowship at Cavalry Chapel in Stephenville.
Hi I use a back pack.
Happy Reformation Day brother
Same to you!
I can see you as Tolkien when you’re older…sitting by a tree, holding your pipe and thinking.
lol. Tolkien was waaayy more intelligent than I will ever be.
How do you study the catechism/confession? I also subscribe to the 1689

Alpha over PSQ??
For me personally, yes. I prefer the simple layout over the ornate drop caps.
