Poison works well against any AI and bosses in game, with poison you can take out any boss quickly. Except the Spider witch is immune to poison damage. Also useful is fire ammo against all AI and bosses except the Butcher as he is immune against fire damage. Me personally I love the silence Nagant with fanning to take out the boss silently and quickly, be careful not to burn Scabby (Scrapbeak) as he drops ammo and loot boxes, fire will damage them and therefore can not be used. All melee weapons that spawn in the world is quite good against all bosses (deals more damage than knifes and knuckles). Good luck and happy Hunting.
