Thanks for making this video! This is a chronic problem with this particular model based on customer reviews and my own experience. I have two of them and they both have died. I'm going to attempt to fix them myself. 🙏
Hi, do you have a video of replacing backlights for either ONN or ELEMENT 70" Roku tv, they have a voltage strip that the backlights connect to and somehow never works for me as i get a little shock when i touch the backlights and they never turn on fully , will realy appreciate this help MODEL # E4SW7019RKU OR 100012588 ( ONN )
i think i have many videos about backlight on element, disconnect all strips and test one by one with led tester must have same reading. any deferent voltages may cause the backlight to not work right, it is very hard to tell whats going on without put my hands on it

very welcome bro, sharing the info, what is 411??🙄
Excellent job!
I have that exact same tv and it did the exact same thing 😢 how much would that repair cost vs diy?
I hate it when they stick screens down, nice fix thanks
yes some times they use the most strong adhesive on the screen
thanks for sharing and your daughter is cut
😊 thank you
So does sharp know about this problem? Did they correct the problem with the new strips?
all tv brands know about backlight issues, newer backlight will work better just lower you backlight level to extend life time
Is there some sort of trick to removing the power button? Mine is stuck and I can't seem to pull it out.
