The 94mm single can do 1200+ wheel(very lazy) but twinning with something larger will give wider performance in the efficient part of their maps and 1500+ capability
I am not super knowledgeable here, and there are a ton of other factors to consider like blade pitch/profile and general design, but assuming all other things equal - higher blade count turbine wheels tend to spool up faster, and lower blade count turbine wheels tend to flow better up top (generally speaking of course).

11 blade is generally better for higher pressure ratios but narrower efficiency mapping
