In my rewritten version Eddie Thawne becomes the next Reverse Flash after Eobard Thawne. The Negative Speed Force didn’t resurrect him, but instead Eddie was lost in 2049 for 9 years only to come back in Season 9 to get revenge from the flash.
Right? I mean, anyone who was paying attention would get that it's the negative speed force without the need to color code the lightning red so the audience would know. They could have even explained that something had fundamentally changed with the negative speed force after the whole negative forces storyline so now it's blue. It's not real so they can make up any silly reason they want for the color change. I also found it really funny they went with the video game logic of former season bosses now being regular enemies. I guess the lone ninja rule really does apply.

Even XS had some of her original lightening color remaining. It would have been much better if they mixed their original lightening and red lightening.

Not bots, not trolls, cobalt blue was cool and brutal, but lightsabers again? And spears? It would be cooler to see him beat Barry up old-school style, he correct way, instead of this crap. The flash production team kind of made cobalt blue’s villain rushed in the finale. Overall, his concept was good, and I enjoyed the returning of villains and the brutal fight in the negative speed force between the 2 speedsters, but it could’ve been better.
