Step 1 to Soloing - Find a clan who can help you actually get the gear you will need if you want to solo
Exactly this! As a 'solo from the beginning' player I don't have anywhere near the tiers of equipment to start of soloing. @DemoneKim roll up a newbie character or keep you skill levels and strip down to pre-spell, pre-tier2 foods, etc. and show us some solo play.
@@stavrosTX Getting the crafting solo takes the longest. If you're patient you can get the rest solo. The longest bit is getting the named to spawn and the time it takes to do careful pulls and regen hp. Just getting the heals alone makes the rest simpler.
Is this game fun? Iv been looking at it but haven't decided if I like it yet.
I'm having a great time with my 3 kids playing it. It is a grind and there are definitely some issues here and there as with all early access, but we keep it fun and alternate building, with dungeon delving and crafting. The guys that raced are burning out within a week. It's a marathon not a sprint.
Come back to it in a few months, there are some frustrating bugs at the moment
there is infinitely better options to do, i just dont see anyone talking about it because its a bit cheese method but its not even close. The overall issue with even cheesing something solo that requires 5 players is the fact that i still only get 40ish animal hide in an hour so there is still an underlying problem with the game for sure. I can pull packs of 8-10 enemies in one go and kill them all for an hour and thats all you get. it will take so long people even cheesing will stop playing. the game needs massive changes, they need a middle ground for normies and hardcore players to be successfull. Barely anyone is playing the game currently and that is not good, the first impression is ruining what could be a great game. Should not have released on steam.

So is this just a theory? I didn't see in this video how you solo do what you talk about. Zero kills, only run and healing. 🤔
Or use a tree, or a rock, or a plot with an elevated piece of foundation. All more time efficient than going out and farming the mats to both grind the crafting levels to make these pieces and the sigils/lockets required for each piece to be crafted. But at the end of the day, there is no reason to be farm these items in the first place for a solo player because there isn't a single piece of overworld content you can't safespot or line of sight cheese, and dungeons are completely inaccessible to solo players due to their respawn rates and lack of safespots. What are you gonna do? Farm hides slightly faster so you can accelerate your progression towards the nonexistent endgame? Or partake in this games thrilling pvp encounters? Base building and graphical fidelity are the only features in this game that are worth your time (even the building mechanics have its list of insufferable flaws), everything else might as well be bloatware.

you can safespot everything with no armor and lvl 1 weapons. "gearing" in this game is just a way to avoid the inevitable realization that gear progression is entirely meaningless for a solo.
or just chop down a tree and let the enemys run against it.. then u can kill everything without any gear and only a spear.. xD
and what will you do when they fix that?
