Happened to me, but not on my engine but my furnice. I was heating my room because it was winter and cold. But i forgot i left some plastic on it. It smelled bad for weeks and i couldn't get it off. I guess that makes us 2 dumbasses.
maybe you can get it off when the turbo is still warm with those metal brushes used to clean the dishes, they are soft enough that they shouldnt leave any deep groves. if you wear a temperture resistant glove you wont burn yourself doing that when its hot and the plastic is soft
I have a permanent oil leak from turbo feed line that soaks the hot side every time I really push it, stinks pretty bad 😅 Changed pipe and washers, still sprays at high revs. Guess I'll just keep topping the oil up every 1000 miles or so 😂
How do you find out what Can go on your car? I have an 08 TSX and I’m just starting to get into cars. Idk if there’s a good website or if I should jsut take it to a shop

Try using one of those floor scrapers. They make a electric one too. That makes it alot easier
