👁 About this video : In today's video we take a look at the Nissan GT-R Track Edition! This is a 2019 model with about 7k miles on it and what a car especially comparing it to the 2014 which is my brothers! The exterior has great lines that are much more defined and the red just makes it pop that much more! With the Nismo wheels and the carbon fiber front splitter and rear spoiler, they accent the car well! Moving into the interior the two tone seats look great and all the materials on the interior are made with good quality. The infotainment screen is a nice change from the previous model, super easy to use and the layout works well with the climate controls just underneath. This newer model has about a 20 horsepower increase which started in 2017, and with a 0-60 time under three seconds, this is a supercar! This is also a family car because it has backseats, and while they aren't the largest, they are great for small kids or adults if you really needed to use them. So is this the ultimate family supercar?? I find it hard to see any competition with this car to have the best of both worlds, and in this case, the car seat in the back is cool to see, you have to start them young! My last encounter with a GT-R was in 2015 and I went with a M5. Never drove the GT-R as there are no test rides. Curious about the "usual noises." I recall that the car came with a document and said all the unusual noises are usual. That is how the GT-R runs. What were your impressions? Did anything sound mechanically out of wack? Now looking at the 2020 Track Edition and every year the price just climbs.
The GTR doesn't make some interesting mechanical noises. This 19 was definitely quieter than my 2014. Love these car a lot and the sounds just add to the fun factor

Not really. Slow speeds it's always clunky around town. It can help a little bit so it doesnt stay in 2nd gear at slow speeds. But not too big of a difference

The track edition is the model to get! Full nismo gets too pricey and the competitors look better the higher the price gets. Also like the trim pieces on Track edition look 👌

I have a 2018 Premium... so far have the aam Non-Res midpipe and the aam sport exhaust. Fucking Pandemic has slowed down my spending BUT planning on installing the aam 3” intake, aam intercooler with Red BOVs, aam downpipes, bigger fuel injectors. THEN take her to SOHO Motorsports for a tune... wanna hit that 600RWHP like Brian’s GT-R 👍🏻

Doesn’t the track edition come with the Nismo 600hp engine?
Not for 2019, from what I found the 2020's had the update to 600 HP, this one is just shy of that.

What is the loudest exhaust for the gtr r35?
They pretty much all sound the same! A 4in system will be deeper sounding than the 3.5in systems. Probably a bit louder. And of course full straight piped. I love my 3.5in Armytrix full exhaust! Sounds amazing with valves open, and nearly stock with them closed.

Yup. All GT-R's have them
Don't need to tune and ruin these. Great stock spec.
How can a tune ruin this? I have full bolt ons/tune and E85 for mine, and it runs incredible. It's so much quicker and still reliable. Nothing wrong with properly modding the car, but if that doesn't interest you, that's fine as well.

Jun Mfour4 dude it’s barely out dated. The car is timeless and is so distinct. Performance is still in supercar range as it has been for a decade. Have you actually seen one in person? It’s like the car just came out..
They needa have more reliable cars first before they go out of business
@@yungactivist I've had two 350z, one 370 and the GTR and knock on wood, I've had zero issues with any of them. Maybe it's more on the higher production vehicles though.
That carbon fiber lip looks like it'll get ripped off going into a gas station.

It is a 10 year old design, but I think it looks really good. Maybe it could use a refresh soon though.
