- 👋 I bought my Nissan GTR R35 bone stock almost 3 years ago! In the time owning the R35 GTR I have turned it into a FBO super fast Nissan GTR! My GTR has a lot of performance modifications on it and a sick set of wheels! The Nissan GTR has been a blast to own and I love driving this Godzilla!

@@BrosFOURRSpeedI appreciate you responding back, that let me know your really down to earth dude. Months ago I watched you change the oil on your GT-R. Where did you learn to do some of the work yourself? And at some point did you ever think you should take it to a professional? I know it's just an oil change but still it's a GT-R. Back in the day when I owned a BMW M3, I decided to dive in and start changing the oil myself, but that's a M3.
Thanks man! Honestly I grew up doing all of this. My dad was always hands on and did everything himself and I always helped. And seriously it doesn't take a professional to do simple things like this. The downpipes and injectors were intimidating. But it was fun teaching myself how to do a big project like that! The one time my dad brought his car into a shop for an oil change. They didn't even tighten the bolt all the way up, and down the road it fell out and all the oil drained out of his car! I'll pretty much always do it myself because I trust I'll do it perfect. Even shops will cut corners and not care about your car as much as you will ;)

Very true! I did some searching at the used market last night. Looks like my car with the mileage is actually worth about $3k more then I paid! So they’ve gone up slightly which is cool! Been a fantastic car to own! In a few years I’ll swap for a new generation GTR

To each their own of course. Stock it's pretty good. But it really needs a midpipe, 3in intakes and a basic tune to really make some power and sound

Honestly not the most fun crawling under the car on jack stands. But it gets me a few inches to work. I always have it on the stands with the jacks still in place. So it’s safe. But one of these days I’ll have my own lift. Crawling under the car is getting old 😅

If you had first car choice of gtr 2012 or the new Supra 2020 which would you go for?

The crazy thing was. My GTR was stock at that time. Just a cutback exhaust, no tuning. That ZR1 had 200 more HP then my GTR. Nothing can really compete against the AWD launch in the GTR

What do you mean rebuild it? I added some mods that I like and changed some of the cosmetics and wheels! The 370Z was a fun car, but this is even more fun!
