Dear UA-camr, Thank you for sharing your time and talent. Time is the most valuable commodity on earth because once spent, it's gone forever. Thank you for posting all the wonderful content. I know many people can be heartless and cruel. The truth is, everyone has their own way of doing things. However, people are free to do their own thing in their own kitchen/home. Thank you for ignoring the control freaks and posting anyway. I just wanted to leave this message so you will know i value you and your time. I also value and appreciate the skill you are sharing. I enjoy your content and will never leave a rude, or demeaning comment.
Still watching this video! It's amazing! Thank you for the wonderful recipe "cards" you displayed throughout the video and the demonstrations. Even the tips you provided as you made them. I can't wait to start the 12 days of Christmas cookies tradition with my kids ❤️
That was fun. The pecan puffs, when I was little, A LONG time ago, my mom called them butter balls and she only made them at Christmas. Those were the best cookies ever!!! Thanks for sharing.
Curious to know what the consistency of the pecan puffs are like? Are they more on the crispy side or soft? I remember these kinda looking like Keebler danish wedding cookies
So happy your video came into my feed...i never made Christmas cookies...(usually eat them😂) i just made 3 of your cookies...im making one more ..they came out great...bringing to a xmas party tomorrow...thank you so much 😊
Enjoyed ! You have a very pleasant voice. I appreciate your errors and just moving through them. It gave me the confidence to do the same. Thanks for the recipes.
I'm so glad you found the video helpful! 😊 Yes I try to keep my mistakes in the video for learning purposes and to show I'm just as human as the rest. Happy Baking! ❤
With the monster cookies i have to cook my oatmeal first because of ibs they tend to back me up, but i still tried this recipe! I added quaker low sugar maple brown sugar oats & omg thank you for showing this! I needed the protein as well❤
Ouch, I just bought 4 dozen large eggs at Costco a few weeks ago so can Lemon Curd. It took about 24 yolks for the recipe. I canned it in half-pint jars and it is wonderful. I have a ton of egg whites now and will be making lots of meringue cookies for Christmas. I got a 38 lb case of Organic Lemons from Azure Standard and grated all the peels. Then I freeze dried it and put it in freezer bags to gift with a jar of the Curd. It will be great on pancakes or toast! So excited!
Thanks ! I love how you just toss the stuff in , I do the same. Gonna make the lemon ones for sure. Thankfully I have my own chickens so eggs are not a problem for me. Have a blessed day all
I'm so jelly, I wish I could have chickens where I live! I don't think I could sneak them in without alerting the HOA, lol. Glad you liked the video! Happy Baking! 🌲😊
I will share this video with my daughter. My oven is not working...so she can make some cookies for her old mom! You have a very nice cheerful voice. Thankyou. New subscriber! 😀😁 Susan from Michigan.
I loved your video! Thanks for sharing. I can't wait to try some of these recipes. Could you please tell me the link for the cookie cutters? I didn't see it in the description box. Thanks & have a blessed Holiday Season!
Thank you so much for sharing your cookie recipes they all look absolutely amazing! I'm sure they taste as good as they look. I appreciate you! Have a wonderful day, Season's Greetings! *ellen on husband's account*
Anybody else watching this in November right before December 1 when eggs are $22 for five dozen? Two months ago they were $12 for five dozen at Safeway. I say two months ago because we left on vacation two months ago and I was thinking I better wait till I get to where we’re going to get the eggs.
@ Washington state where everything is high. We are the highest for gas prices and for liquor taxes. I went yesterday and they are still $22 for five dozen.
If the recipe calls for unsalted or salted butter, the way it was meant to be made, I will post it as such for each cookie. However, lol, unless it's absolutely imperative a specific recipe calls for unsalted butter, like frosting, I personally always use salted butter for my cookie recipes just because it's my butter of choice. 😄 🧈
If unsalted butter is all you have, then sure, it should be fine. However, I would stick to regular butter in the stick form. Spreadable container butter should not be used for this recipe. You technically can use spreadable butter for baking in a pinch, it's generally not recommended because the added oils in spreadable butter can lead to inconsistent results like dense or soggy baked goods due to its higher water content and altered fat composition compared to regular stick butter.
I'm pretty sure all 12 cookies use salted butter, but there is a link in the video's description box for each individual cookie video. Each cookie video has a written list of ingredients and directions in the video's description box specific to that cookie where it should listed if salted or unsalted butter was used. Happy Baking!! 🌲
Yes, the frosting has cream cheese in it. So you'll want to store them in the refrigerator. Once the frosting has firmed up on the decorated cookie (from being in the refrigerator), you can stack them in an air tight container with a sheet of parchment between each cookie layer. Happy Baking!
I'm trying several of your recipes to make for my neighbors, family & friends, and church family. I don't know if I will, but if I happen to make a video of this do I have permission to link your channel and video to my description box?
It's not necessary, but it helps to create a chewier texture by preventing sugar crystals from forming, resulting in a softer cookie, and it can also add a slight tangy flavor. ❤
So many great ideas! Though the first one is topped with an icing, that is not a ganache. A ganache is an emulsion of melted chocolate and a water based liquid like cream or milk.
This just popped up in my feed and a ton of cookie videos out here but this is an excellent one!! Great variety and easy to understand. Thank you for this!! XO
lol I actually do have a really nice bright red kitchen aid stand mixer, but I just like using the hand held mixer. The carrot cake cookies with the cream cheese frosting is definitely a family favorite. Thanks for watching! Happy Baking!! 🌲
Sorry, but you must be mistaken. None of my cookies have raw eggs on them. All of my cookies are baked cookies. None of the frostings or drizzles have raw eggs in them.
I have several favorites, but there are three that stand out the most. The classic sugar cookie, with the red and green sprinkles, is probably my #1 favorite. Costco sells a sugar cookie mix that my mom and I used to make during the holiday season. I think there was a year or two when they either didn't sell them or they sold out really quickly. When I found this recipe and the cookies tasted JUST like the ones we used to make, it just hit home and became an instant favorite. My second favorite would be the Ribbon Cookies. They're super easy to make and taste like a Christmas cookie should, festive and memorable. My third favorite is my husband's favorite, the Carrot Cake Cookie. They're a huge hit with his coworkers and close friends. They're also my favorite because carrot cake is my ganny's favorite kind of cake and since these are the cookie version it makes me think of her every time I make them. 😊 Merry Christmas and Happy Baking!
Ma'am you do realize that *chocolate ganache* involves ACTUAL chocolate? And it is made with cream nothing else, no butter, water or powdered sugar? Great recipes by the way, it's just weird seeing you make a frosting and calling it a chocolate ganache.
Your butter is way too soft, the best way to test it is by pressing your finger into it. If it can make an impression, without oozing, it’s ready. It makes a difference in the finished product. I hope you don’t mind my comment, I read your channel description and I’m trying to help. Love your tongue in cheek humor!
I'm sorry to hear that, it is a bit of a messy cookie. I'm so glad you liked the flavor though! The last cookie in the video, the ribbon cookie, is a super easy cookie to make and one of my favorites. (I saved the best for last ❤) I'd give that one a try. Happy Baking! 🌲😊
Thank you for showing us how easy these are to make especially for those NON bakers....😂.
My pleasure! Happy Baking!! ☺️

Yep, eggs and butter seem to be the most expensive baking items for my area right now. And it's baking season, lol!
And all the distributors know it!!
I wish we could get eggs at that price, $9 dozen in Australia, when you can get them.
Where are you at paying that much LOL I'm in Kentucky and we get 60 eggs for around 13$!

Great channel
Thank you very much!
Everything looks delicious. Technically speaking, a ganache is just chocolate and cream in equal parts. What you made is a chocolate frosting
Yep, somebody else said the same thing a few days ago, lol. Happy Baking!

for the sugar cookies is the tatar necessary?

I am sort of watching this on Dec 15
Delightful!
The real question is where did you get the Grolsch bottle 😂. The last thing I was expecting to see here is a Dutch Beer bottle with a flip top 😅
LOL my mother-in-law gave me that with homemade vanilla extract in it. 😊
I love these recipes, but why were you using dry measuring cups for wet ingredients?
Anyone else see weird faces in some of those pre-cooked pecan puffs? 😂😂
Thank you for your video but seriously invest in a Kitchen Aid. It’s so much better! The carrot cake cookies look scrumptious!
lol I actually do have a really nice bright red kitchen aid stand mixer, but I just like using the hand held mixer. The carrot cake cookies with the cream cheese frosting is definitely a family favorite. Thanks for watching! Happy Baking!! 🌲
On the peppermint cookie how is raw egg ok? I don’t think I’d eat it.
Sorry, but you must be mistaken. None of my cookies have raw eggs on them. All of my cookies are baked cookies. None of the frostings or drizzles have raw eggs in them.
Do you know which one was the ones that your family, friends or coworkers liked the best? Also which one was your favorite?

Made the peppermint hot chocolate cookies & they were amazing but WAAAAAAY too messy & difficult to make. Do not recommend
