Ingredients:
Turtle Bark -
12 oz package semi-sweet chocolate chips
25 caramel squares or 1 1/4 cup caramel bits
1 cap full vegetable oil
1 tbsp heavy cream
whole pecans, as many as you want
Peppermint Bark -
12 oz package semi-sweet chocolate chips
12 oz of white almond bark, or ghirardelli white chocolate chips
1 cap full vegetable oil for each chocolate
1/2 tsp peppermint extract
about 8 candy canes, crushed
Christmas Crack -
1 sleeve original saltine crackers
1 cup salted butter
1 cup brown sugar
1 cap full of vegetable oil
12 oz package semi-sweet chocolate chips
Toppings -
Christmas sprinkles
red and green candies
fine gold sanding sugar
Directions:
Turtle Bark - Line a 10x15 inch baking pan with parchment paper. To a microwave save bowl, add in the chocolate and vegetable oil. Microwave for 1 - 1 1/2 minutes, stirring every 20 seconds so the chocolate doesn't burn or seize. Once melted, set the chocolate off to the side and melt the caramel. To another microwave safe bowl, add in the caramel squares and heavy cream. Melt for 1 - 1 1/2 minutes until melted, stirring every 20 seconds.
Assemble the bark. Pour the melted chocolate out in a nice even layer. Then drop dollops of the melted caramel all over the chocolate. Grab a butter knife and swirl in the caramel. Add on the pecans and sprinkle in the gold sanding sugar. Drizzle on a final layer of chocolate if you desire. Set your bark in the fridge to fully set for 30 minutes. Once hardened, break up the bark into pieces. Enjoy!

While the chocolate is setting in the fridge, prepare the candy canes. Place them in a baggie and, using the back of a measuring cup, crush them into fine bite size pieces. Transfer to a bowl.
For the next layer, into a microwave safe bowl, add in the white chocolate and vegetable oil. Microwave for 1 - 1 1/2 minutes, stirring every 20 seconds so the chocolate doesn't burn or seize. Once the chocolate is nice and melted, using a tsp, scoop out the finer crushed peppermint "dust" from the bowl of crushed candy canes. Mix that in with the melted white chocolate. Then pour out the white chocolate onto the dark chocolate layer. It's important to note, if you pour your warm chocolate onto fridge cold chocolate, your white chocolate will harden up VERY quickly. I find it's best to remove the base layer from the fridge prior to melting the white chocolate so this doesn't happen. Sprinkle the extra crushed candy canes on top of the white layer. Add on a drizzle of more white chocolate if you want. Place the bark back in the fridge to fully set. Once set, break the pieces up and enjoy!

Once it starts to boil, boil the mixture for three minutes. Then pour your mixture all over your crackers, carefully spreading the mixture out. Into a preheated oven at 400 degrees for 5 minutes. Let your crackers cool out of the oven for another 5 minutes.
To a microwave save bowl, add in the chocolate and vegetable oil. Microwave for 1 - 1 1/2 minutes, stirring every 20 seconds so the chocolate doesn't burn or seize. Spread the chocolate out all over the crackers. Add on your candies and or holiday sprinkles. Place in the fridge to fully set for about 30 minutes. Break up the bark and enjoy!

You didn't say how long to bake and what degree's to bake on sorry.
2:45 350 degrees for 15 - 20 minutes, I left mine in for the full 20 minutes. Happy Baking!

Can I make this dough ahead and leave chilled in the refrigerator?
Yes!
For the pecan puffs does the butter matter if it's unsalted or salted? And does it matter if it's Sticks or in a container?
If unsalted butter is all you have, then sure, it should be fine. However, I would stick to regular butter in the stick form. Spreadable container butter should not be used for this recipe. You technically can use spreadable butter for baking in a pinch, it's generally not recommended because the added oils in spreadable butter can lead to inconsistent results like dense or soggy baked goods due to its higher water content and altered fat composition compared to regular stick butter.

Making these today! I’ll update and tell you how it turns out ☺️ Edit: okay so I made the cupcakes and they were good but the frosting was really sweet because the dulce de leche was already sweet itself and adding the confection sugar made it really sweet. I think using cream cheese would have helped level it out

Non alcoholic version?
To make the cupcakes non-alcoholic, leave out the amaretto in the filling and use 5 1/2 tablespoons of heavy whipping cream and 3/4 teaspoon of almond extract. Happy Baking! 🌲

for the sugar cookies is the tatar necessary?
It's not necessary, but it helps to create a chewier texture by preventing sugar crystals from forming, resulting in a softer cookie, and it can also add a slight tangy flavor. ❤
For the thumbprint cookies i used the nestle dolce de leche caramel in the can❤
With the monster cookies i have to cook my oatmeal first because of ibs they tend to back me up, but i still tried this recipe! I added quaker low sugar maple brown sugar oats & omg thank you for showing this! I needed the protein as well❤

Ma'am you do realize that *chocolate ganache* involves ACTUAL chocolate? And it is made with cream nothing else, no butter, water or powdered sugar? Great recipes by the way, it's just weird seeing you make a frosting and calling it a chocolate ganache.

Yes, the frosting has cream cheese in it. So you'll want to store them in the refrigerator. Once the frosting has firmed up on the decorated cookie (from being in the refrigerator), you can stack them in an air tight container with a sheet of parchment between each cookie layer. Happy Baking!
Ouch, I just bought 4 dozen large eggs at Costco a few weeks ago so can Lemon Curd. It took about 24 yolks for the recipe. I canned it in half-pint jars and it is wonderful. I have a ton of egg whites now and will be making lots of meringue cookies for Christmas. I got a 38 lb case of Organic Lemons from Azure Standard and grated all the peels. Then I freeze dried it and put it in freezer bags to gift with a jar of the Curd. It will be great on pancakes or toast! So excited!

Yummy !! Finally !!!!!! ... I've found a recipe that looks like it's not a runny mess, I like to make little bit sized goodies for my Co Workers, this looks like it would stand up to being cut into 30 or so Bite Size pieces that I can hand out during the Day. 🥰
