    I also get really obsessed with rate of fire. However my obsession is with getting it as close to the real gun as possible. People are often confused by my AKs super snappy trigger response, but sluggish rate of fire on auto.

    Local Field we go to has a Field Limit of 25 ROF. I think this is a good step towards not having people over shoot someone. My .30 cal LMG is doing 12 ROF which works out great for me.

    I try to go as realistic as is reasonably viable for airsoft. For instance. An m3a1 fires at around 7 or 8 rps which works for the real steel version. The airsoft version I can get down to about 10 or 11 which I think is better given that range, accuracy and velocity are significantly different. I also feel that a more realistic rps makes me a better player.

    Hi guys, for me high rate of fire means good trigger response. How ever that does not mean I like to blast ppl with this rate of fire. Everyone's responsibility should be play with respect to other players. You guys put very valid points out there. How ever forgot one thing way this build exists and I'm speaking from my behalf. I building this vfc gun with all high standard parts ( btc mk2, lonex shel, lonex compression parts, sigatek 10:44.1 also pinion gear, r hop etc.) And all of that is to eliminate any issues that can effect my performance. The gun shouldn't dictate your game play performance is the player that should dictate all of that.
    So this my reason I'm doing this build.
    P.s. some aeg can archive 65rof or even more.

    I know this is a two year old video but I play Speedsoft and people still think high rof builds equals faster trigger response which kind of is right but I run 16.1 Guarder gears, a Speed adjustable trigger, a Gate Warfet, and a high torque motor and with my trigger set at the shortest pull precock set and a good battery I can shoot just as fast as DSG builds with a 13.1 gear ratio and a high speed motor and my gun won't break from the added stress from a high rof DSG build I had a Bloomies DSG and I was constantly fixing something on it after the first 6 months of playing with it and I always had a back up which got used alot and my new setup has been going for a year and a half now and I've only done basic maintenance

    My aeg is build to 32 rps... Magnificent trigger response.
    To that I have a mosfet with power limited after the first shot in burst(anything not semi auto) and it's limited down to 22 rps in auto with the limitation

    I'm big into speedsoft, and I do agree that good aim > than tracing your bbs. If you have good aim, you can take out way more people than by spraying and praying.

    So I'm a semi auto guy, saves ammo and better accuracy. I like snappy triggers so I can see, shoot, done. I also like being able to taptaptap infront of people of there running. But I usually only use full auto if someone isn't calling there hits of its raining and hitting there coats so I can just let them know.

    Can you make a speedsim vid on balancing teams at open plays eventually? I've been noticing at my local field a lot of the younger players end up coming in smaller groups, and all get thrown together as their own team with the other singles and duos, while the groups of milsim players stick together and form the other team. This isn't a problem on a slower day with like say 16 to 20 players or even less but lately my local field has seen a big spike in Milsim teams showing up to do team training and what not. A lot of us are adults, but like a lot are also under the age of 18 and get pretty intimidated when the entire enemy team is geared out looking like seal team 6. Maybe this is just my local, idk just something to think about.

    Personally I'm more of a semi-auto player, I'm more like the "One Shot, One KIll" kind of player so I don't really care about rate of fire... I only use full auto for long distances because BB's get effected more by external elements like wind, so you probaly need to shoot several BB's to hit someone 1 time... I try to conserve my ammo as much as possible... not because I'm cheap because they are not that expensive but because I try to go for a more realism like experiance... soldiers only carry like 7 mags, so I try to not use more then I carry on the beginning of the event... i Do have to say I use midcaps and not low/realcaps... I'm not that hardcore into realism :P but I don't use high-caps...

  • @darkshock42mlg05
    @darkshock42mlg05 2 роки тому

    For full auto, id go no higher than 30 rps. Id still build 60rps just so i can go brrrrt in my back yard but id use the aster to regulate it to 30rps. In cqb (if theyballow it) you bwill need to take 2 teeth off your sectir gear and piston if you want to make it lighter. You will need an 11.1 and. 13:1 gears because you still want a torque motor. If you get a dsg it's so satifying going brrrrrrt because the sound it makes. Honestly in an ar15 platform, ill just use burst fire because it conserves ammo. That's thwo whole idea about burst fire. It's not about accuracy and never was.

    You know those videos where the guy says no full auto inside and the dude is like it's not, then spams his trigger 15 rounds in a second?
    If a ref can't tell the difference between semi and full then your guns rps is probably too high. I mean how else do you get fast trigger response ya know? But then again mosfets can make it so your semi is snappy with a 11.1 but shoots 10 rps on full do to settings.
    I just rather stay away from indoor fields. There also an attitude and ego issue I've noticed with indoor field players

    Speed sim risks ruining airsoft for me... The way I see it, speed sim is just trying to to turn airsoft into paintball. There's no reason you need a rate of fire like that in a cqc game. I got lit the f up last week in a game by some speed softers. I ended up leaving mid day because of how much I had been shot. I get out twice in a match yet leave the field with 20 or so welts. Seriously what the hell? What's the point of semi only when some people have modded triggers that defeat the purpose?

    • @JJ-eg4zm

    • @samswann3727
      @samswann3727 5 років тому +1

      As someone that plays both airsoft and paintball, I partially agree with you and partially don’t- airsoft is definitely more tactical and slower pace and paintball is all about speed, so it begs the question why don’t speed softers just play paintball? However I also think that they are not necessarily harmful to the sport as long as people don’t over shoot each other. In paintball all guns are semi auto ( some have a burst function called ramping but it only makes it easier to shoot faster so your finger doesn’t hurt the rate of fire isn’t actually faster) yet the guns shoot 10+ shots per second so getting shot over 20/30 times a day is typical and a lot of those can be at close range.

      @CrazedCreationz dude i am new in returning to airsoft after the mass incorporation of hpa p* rigs. I play at an indoor cqb place and i gotta say I thoroughly enjoy the new blood into airsoft. Speedsofters are hilarious and very talented. Im running a bone stock combat machine and i played adequately with the speedsofters. I left the field after 5 hours of play, last weekend, with maybe 14 hits in all. I play aggressively and move, kinda like the speedsofters, but i hug the hell out of the walls and use cover to my advantage.

      Usman Ahmad the centres in the U.K. that charge 60 quid for 1000 paintballs are designed for rental player and the paint cost so much as rentals only use about 500-1000 a day and they are also paying for the price of their wuidpkent with the paintballs as entry and equipment is like 5 pounds. Walk on sites designed for regular players with their own gear usually charge 20-30 pounds for 2000 depending on quality.
