- Talk’s Kevin O’Sullivan is joined by royal commentator Kinsey Schofield to discuss the latest royal stories.
It comes after the King informed that his “full programme” meant a reunion was not possible during Harry’s UK trip to celebrate the Invictus Games.
Harry travelled to London to mark the 10th anniversary of his Paralympic-style tournament for wounded veterans and serving military, but will not cap his visit by sitting down with his father.
Prince Harry is set to begin his travels to Nigeria tomorrow, where he will meet the Duke of Sussex, Meghan Markle for meetings about the Invictus Games.
Kinsey says: “Meghan Markle gives Harry false justifications for his actions - he wouldn’t behave so badly if he didn’t have her cheering him on”.

Heard the Nigeria trip was canceled by Sussex’s due to security concerns! Trying to confirm, but word is after the UK ambassador said the trip was by private citizens-not sanctioned-it was scaled back. Nigerian TV reported this morning, probably their evening, that the itinerary for the couple was to a hospital, rehab facility and the location of a hoped-for new center for disabled veterans for which the country is trying to raise funds from other charities. H&M don’t give money, they spend it!

Cheers for the British High Commissioner to Nigeria who made a clear statement, when on a visit to a Nigerian press agency, that Hazmat & Markle were visiting the country in a private capacity, not on behalf of the UK and, therefore, the British High Commission was not providing any assistance. However, setting boundaries and letting your children, young or adult, know when you’ve reached your saturated limit is not a bad thing. As for the Spencer’s, I feel they are getting their own dig at the monarch for the Diana days. Not sure they like what Harry has done to Princess Catherine, but I think the Spencer’s being at the ceremony seemingly supporting Harry, may not have the same support of Meghan.

I disagree with Kevin that the public blame Meghan for all the toxicity. Harry is an adult and responsible for his own actions. Meghan gave Harry a way out, he resented being the Spare. I think he looked at Andrew and how his role and status diminished as he and William got older and saw his own future as William’’s children matured. He also resented William being the Heir. Meghan was simply the conduit.
