- Royal editor Robert Jobson says the idea that King Charles “snubbed” Prince Harry on his return to the UK is “ridiculous”.
“My understanding is that there wasn’t even an official approach, so there’s no clash.”
The Duke of Sussex “hopes” to see his father “soon” after the King’s “full programme” meant a reunion was not possible during Harry’s UK trip to celebrate his Invictus Games.
Harry has travelled to London to mark the 10th anniversary of his Paralympic-style tournament for wounded veterans and serving military but will not cap his visit by sitting down with his father.
The former working royal joked during an Invictus summit event he would be spending the evening having dinner with former Invictus Games Foundation trustee Guy Monson.

I agree with this. There is a danger in having them act like they represent a head of state in another country collecting “princess” titles and govt supported tours. When American kids of ex Presidents travel they don’t get media followed, tours of other countries. I have no clue what Obamas daughters are doing and that’s appropriate. That is not even close to what happened. When he was interviewed in Vancouver he declined to make any comments regarding the February trip to the UK.

I feel very sad for Harry and king Charles fraught relationship because they are both hurting. But I don't think they are equally at fault, Harry overtly destroyed their relationship by selling his story and the trust has been destroyed. Harry needs to make amends by publicly admitting his mistakes, and apologising. Then keep his family relationships private and accept the consequences he is no longer a working royal because of his
actions. Hopefully with time his father can trust him again and they may form a healthier relationship.

Why does the 'media' manage to forget just what harry did to one of his most important military patronages in the past? He had a years notice from that patronage regarding an important event that harry agreed to attend. Instead, he at the last minute, made the decision to take his wife to the premier of the Lion King so he could promote her for voice overs. Oops! Needless to say, the military organization was justifiably quite upset. They asked the Queen to remove him and appoint another patron. Harry has since given up his responsibility to the Crown and Monarchy. This means all of his patronages and thus they are being appointed to other Patrons.

One morning you wake up and you realize that your child is a grown adult who is abusing you for no other reason than for publicity? And you think, “you know, if this was any other a grown adult I would not tolerate this.” And “I’m not going to tolerate it from you either. If you want to come around and you want to behave yourself, that’s one thing but if you’re going to try to abuse and belittle me and use it for publicity sake, then I’m done!” I’m pretty sure King Charles has decided that Prince Harry is a grown adult man who has chosen to do all these things he’s done, and until PH can humble himself, apologize, and never again use family matters for publicity again, then why bother with him? King Charles did not meet with Harry so he can't skip off to Nigeria right after his meeting with the King of England. The Nigeria trip IS NOT a royal tour. But Meghan and Harry wanted some of the King's stardust as the touch down in Nigeria.

What has KC actually done? His son has attacked his wife, son, DIL and most importantly accused the whole of the UK of being racists. And all we get is crickets.
