Kinda odd how the death jingle only plays when falling into a pit. Also, apparently to me, the death jingle is creepier with its octaves being pitched up like that. There’s also no jumping sound nor sounds for bumping blocks, and no sounds for entering a pipe.
Its so sad, people now have the resources and material to make awesome fangames and this couldve been one but... nope, of course they had to make it into super mario horror slop that has no originality because its just the same as the other games over and over

While I get the bellyaching of others in terms of wanting originality for projects, these things are usually a completely free endeavor where anyone can pick up and put something together. We've had the resources to teach people how to hack games and/or build them up from the ground up for quite a while now. It's not exactly your call to weigh governance over what should be done on a fan scene when the whole damn point is to further it by creating and executing your own fan ideas. "Be the change you want to be" that kind of thing. Tbf though it really is hard to justify high quality effort for something that will end up being freeware at the end of the day. Ofc I'm looking at this under the scope of just letting people do what they want in terms of concept/genre/style. Practically speaking this doesn't exactly work on something like game design which requires a more masterful touch. On this level feedback is definitely appreciated for furthering the development of a quality project. That being said this fangame still does suck conceptually, this is a friggin snoozefest. I think I've made a lapse of judgement in my previous statments, this is more fad oriented than anything. If I'd have to tier this it'd probably get thrown into its own category along with all the other same same "what if the childhood game was SPOOKY!?!??" stuff. It's a generalization but you get the idea.
If seriously, I just wanted to see if I can make a creepypasta game on a limited hardware. Idk why this idea is bad, like, people are porting doom on every device, so I decided to make the same thing to see if it's possible
