Only if he includes the cost of studies. For example, becoming a helicopter pilot requires at least 2 Cr. This figure is from 2010 because back then, I was working in a flying club with Pilots. The most popular helicopter I worked on was Bell. It's a very expensive passion and not all can afford it to be frank. 2 cr just for a salary of 2 lakh is nothing so great that too after risking life. Two of my friends got dead in a helicopter. One was my senior Surabhi Gupta and another was my Junior Manish Pandey. So not so a cool profession in India. You can fact-check what I am saying just google the names I told.

Although this series is made in collaboration with DW still keep the Indian context in mind as most of your viewers are from India. You could have included data like the number of new helicopter pilots getting trained each year in India, name of some popular schools in india, etc etc.
But he did very much keep the Indian context in mind. He had an Indian pilot talk about the situation and training in India. Schools you can easily Google yourself :)

@@LinskiJ though I can't imagine being a helicopter pilot in India - from what little I know (could be wrong here); it's usually ex-army, navy, airforce veterans who get priority and even when you get the job, it isn't one of those jobs that pay you well atleast here; even abroad there are other higher paying aviation jobs. But if you're hell bent on flying helicopters abroad, are okay with hitting the celing at about $100 grand/ yr and would like to do some adventurous flying, nothing beats a helicopter in the civilian world. It's going to take a while though to climb the ladder and then you'd want to go for the highest paying helicopter jobs available like those in EMS, working for oil companies (offshore flying); you're then on a pretty decent middle class salary which affords you a comfy lifestyle but not beyond that. Overall if money is a goal for you, you are better off choosing commercials, cargo or for the very qualified and those who know the networks, private jets for celebrities and the famous could also be a way. Also, there aren't as many jobs available as commercials so heavy competition (especially in India).

First of all, I really appreciate your efforts that you're doing to make people aware. To be specific regarding this series, I would request you to mention some more subsections like cost of attending those trainings, available institutions, any scholarships available etc. besides requirements and salary only because most people do get attracted towards any professions just by looking at the expected salary. But, unfortunately, most people do end up their chosen career just because they can't afford. So if you could mention about the cost of attending any trainings that you're going make video about, that would be more appreciable. Thank you!
