If you are worried about the crash then there is no need to worry because it can attach a parachute on top of the car to solve it. I think we can get rid of some of that noise pollution if we completely cover the cars with solar panels and also the cost will not be high😉
16:02 actually aircrafts have TCAS (traffic collision avoidance system) or ACAS (airborne collision avoidance system). Fitting all these technology in a flying car will make it expensive too. My thoughts about collision were on top when I first heard about flying cars.
Imagine if thousands of car fly together it would be hectic and fatal accidents as they will fall to their death. So yep thats where TCAS doesn't work. For planes, very less are together with ATC monitering them.
Yes as a flying car would need to generate considerable downward force to keep them flying. That translates to a lot of noise and wind for those on the ground. There’s also the probability of debris falling in the case of mid-air fender-benders…If somebody doesn’t maintain their flying car, it could drop a hubcap and guillotine you
There can be solutions to the problems you have mentioned. From my point of view solution for “what if the car gets a prob in mid air” is that the company should be having enough sensors which can create warning signals for the pilots and since they are trained they will be knowing how to handle the situation BUT anyways there should be infrastructure created for flying cars like tall towers can be called as Autoair station where the cars can fill up the petrol again and if there’s any issue they can get a technician over there to resolve it, the towers should be placed 30-40km (not sure about the distance) apart from each other. These towers may also solve issue of traffic signals for the flying cars. This is just my perception so it can be wrong also. Noise pollution will be an issue unless we get enough tech to reduce the engine noise and govt regulations again no clue. 🙈

Use-inspired basic research - Quest for fundamental understanding: yes | Consideration of use: yes Pt 3 is what is popularly known as Pasteur's Quadrant which includes projects that is not just inspired by use but also the quest for fundamenal understanding of science. These type of projects often start at pt 3 but with time tends to reach pt 1 where the use case may or may not be relevant anymore but the fundamental understandimg achieved midway becomes much more important. It helps in furure projects that falls under pt 2. Case in point the ARPANET, I am not gonna explain this because that would be like giving a spoiler for other readers who do not know about it !

What I would love is to enable the future cars with a technology that lets the cars float on air just a little above the surface level and still make it drivable in case there is low fuel. Maybe this can be helpful?🤔
Very good content. My suggestion is after innovation addition with two more seat and boot space to carry luggage the cost will be around 2M $ or more. It can be use by cab service provider like Ola/Uber/Ambulance/ Police/Fire brigade or any emergency purpose where skilled driver cum pilot will be there.

The jestson 1 ( the single seated aircraft) would be very useful in mountain areas where generally you will need a helicopter to reach some places safely. It could also be be very useful in hospitals for emergencies in rural areas where proper roads are in absence. The only problem would be its costs which I believe will be solved in the future, There are many places where this Drone like aircraft is perfect for use, If it becomes double seated in the future there will be a ton of more uses, Honestly I like the jestson 1 aircraft more than the other flying cars.

Well in my opinion there will always be different group of customers for different range of products. It is quite difficult to say that a product won't succeed for just being costly.

i think that Jetson's Drone Car is Efficient cuz it won't go so high so that if it falls (due to any problem) it can crash land safely like from 5ft or something like that. the may cost much cheaper than that aeroplane car, it does not require a proper pilot's licence so that any 18+ having a local driver's licence can ride it but their might be some restrictions like a drone that it may not be allowed to fly in or near aerostrips or miliatry bases, secondly we need to ensure the security that idf any kid doing saste nashe came near the working blade and go hit by the blade so it may cause some real trouble and if we cover it with net so we may not get enough air flow to take it off

The problem with Tesla is that they have only level 2 autonomy, fully autonomous cars require at least level 4.(Musk has been promising level 4 autonomy forever like Modi promising 5 trillion dollar economy). I don't like the idea of flying cars But it can be extremely useful if it's only used by hospitals , police and other emergency services It's can save lives of thousands of people And we can have special pilots to drive them and a seperate control centre to manage them and their flying route to minimise danger of in air collision !!
Btw flying is safest mode of transportation If we focus too much on it's negative side there can't be any new innovations in future And i already Said we need to have a control centre to avoid them as much as possible , just like we have one for commercial airlines
I think AirCar has a great future. Every new innovation seem impossible in the beginning. When the concept of aeroplane was introduced, everyone must have thought that what will happen if something goes wrong in the air, but the solution came out with time. AirCar will just be a new and faster way to travel just like aeroplanes, trains, cars, etc. It has lots of use in real life. Imagine it's a medical emergency, and you're stuck in traffic, then there will be a system where you can take permission from the air traffic control to fly your car and arrive the hospital on time. You may think that currently it requires a runway just like aeroplanes, and where will you find a runway in traffic ? That problem can be resolved by an upgrade, like adding propeller instead of wings, this is just the beginning, it will keep upgrading with time. I think it's future is great. Yes, it requires a whole new system, but it's possible if it gets all the required technologies, permissions from the government. Just like there is Air Traffic control for Aeroplanes, it is possible for AirCars too. It's a great advancement in mode of travelling. Only problem is the equal support it requires just like other modes of travelling.
I want to live in a world where you can travel from your house to college in a flying car,Amazon deliveries will be done by drones ,shopping will be done in the metaverse,transactions will be done using crypto currency and we can travel the entire world,play sports and immersive games using VR.I want all these technologies to come in the market before I grow old,so that I get to have fun.

When we Indians go out of the country to get an ideal opportunity we lead the technical world. simply low altitude flying cars which will fly right above the already made roads/highways, it can accommodate multiple layers of vehicle compared to ground cars.

Drone cars will be best cause it can hover also which will be helpful in air traffic and yes drones can be synchronised as well, so if we make a system where all the drone cars are in sync then flying cars are possible. Similar to automated cars drone cars has to be automated, the passenger has to put the destination and the A.I will calculate if the weather or fuel/battery is adequate for the journey. And if by any chance the predicted weather gets worsen it will land. The sound thing can be minimised for the passengers by using the same headphones that is used by helicopters. Drones car will be cheap and we have to make the use of A.I as there is similar advanced A.I is used in many areas. The only problem that persists is noise pollution as people and animals on land cannot use headphones all the time. Thankyou for your informative video.

Great analysis of both the points of past & present with showing the advantage & disadvantage... I was literally laughing😂 imagining the scene sitting in flying car & the next moment oh crash! .. Honestly talking about these cars, I guess a hovering car is more beneficial...if you manage to uplift the car by only a meter above the ground level, it can still be a flying car and will be more practical than aero-cars. Such cars won't have any special dangers regarding damage and refueling along with congestion due to traffics. If a normal BMW Car engine can make the car fly that higher in altitude, just think how would it operate just to hover. I also believe that hovering cars will be much more energy efficient and fast. We've seen hovering trains in Japan where they tend to run on strong magnetic field. They almost look like a wheel-less trains. A solar powered hovering electric compact cars can be a great futuristic vehicle. It will be completely safe too since it doesn't fly high and is just about a meter above from the ground. Well, this is just my concept as I drew little imaginative designs on paper taking some basic car's design...As far as I've sensed the current technology, the hovering car won't be difficult to approach

I think AirCar has a great future. Every new innovation seem impossible in the beginning. When the concept of aeroplane was introduced, everyone must have thought that what will happen if something goes wrong in the air, but the solution came out with time. AirCar will just be a new and faster way to travel just like aeroplanes, trains, cars, etc. It has lots of use in real life. Imagine it's a medical emergency, and you're stuck in traffic, then there will be a system where you can take permission from the air traffic control to fly your car and arrive the hospital on time. You may think that currently it requires a runway just like aeroplanes, and where will you find a runway in traffic ? That problem can be resolved by an upgrade, like adding propeller instead of wings, this is just the beginning, it will keep upgrading with time. I think it's future is great. Yes, it requires a whole new system, but it's possible if it gets all the required technologies, permissions from the government. Just like there is Air Traffic control for Aeroplanes, it is possible for AirCars too. It's a great advancement in mode of travelling. Only problem is the equal support it requires just like other modes of travelling.
I want to live in a world where you can travel from your house to college in a flying car,Amazon deliveries will be done by drones ,shopping will be done in the metaverse,transactions will be done using crypto currency and we can travel the entire world,play sports and immersive games using VR.I want all these technologies to come in the market before I grow old,so that I get to have fun.

Hi Dhruv, you always do a wonderful job. Around 8:40 sec in this video you said we Indian do not have proper skill actually we India do not have ideal platform or opportunity. When we Indians go out of the country to get an ideal opportunity we lead the technical world. We can discuss the topic, just by studying you do not get skill, one needs to have a required platform to evolve. Anyway, it is my humble request to remove such statements. simply low altitude flying cars which will fly right above the already made roads/highways, it can accommodate multiple layers of vehicle compared to ground cars.
It cannot be used as an emergency service vehicle...if it needs a runway.
Helicopters are more reliable and efficient in emergency cases.

Drone cars will be best cause it can hover also which will be helpful in air traffic and yes drones can be synchronised as well, so if we make a system where all the drone cars are in sync then flying cars are possible. Similar to automated cars drone cars has to be automated, the passenger has to put the destination and the A.I will calculate if the weather or fuel/battery is adequate for the journey. And if by any chance the predicted weather gets worsen it will land. The sound thing can be minimised for the passengers by using the same headphones that is used by helicopters. Drones car will be cheap and we have to make the use of A.I as there is similar advanced A.I is used in many areas. The only problem that persists is noise pollution as people and animals on land cannot use headphones all the time. Thankyou for your informative video.

But I think making it affordable and should come in market by already plans for solving all the problems that will arise by it because if one quit the project seeing no need then future innovation & etc won't be seen & people be demoralize regarding new future tech ideas. Its not really great to say that flying cars cant be the future as we all know that aviation is this 95% the future of travel and as we can never predict the future in a definite manner ... So i think the flying car not definitely but a levitating autonomous vehicles would be the greatest innovation of future

Honestly talking about these cars, I guess a hovering car is more beneficial...if you manage to uplift the car by only a meter above the ground level, it can still be a flying car and will be more practical than aero-cars. Such cars won't have any special dangers regarding damage and refueling along with congestion due to traffics. If a normal BMW Car engine can make the car fly that higher in altitude, just think how would it operate just to hover. I also believe that hovering cars will be much more energy efficient and fast. We've seen hovering trains in Japan where they tend to run on strong magnetic field. They almost look like a wheel-less trains. A solar powered hovering electric compact cars can be a great futuristic vehicle. It will be completely safe too since it doesn't fly high and is just about a meter above from the ground.
Well, this is just my concept as I drew little imaginative designs on paper taking some basic car's design...As far as I've sensed the current technology, the hovering car won't be difficult to approach
