I use Black Dog Customs when ever I can!....The products they produce are top notch, and Mike stands firmly behind his products!....I got most of it, fuel cut off, back up light kit, rear lighted license plate kit, ect!!!!

Perfect. And if it ever fails or your forget the key you can just jump the wires and close the circuit. I would assume this is only a good security feature if it is hidden somewhere out of the way.
If this is the case, then you can just open the hood lol and unplug it and off you go. I'm pairing the cutoff switch with locking doors its a deterrent if anything.

That's not bad. I am gonna look into battery cut off too. Still, keyed ignition would be cool. Sucks the fry the started box.
Why not just make your start switch lever removable and on your keychain.
@@MyHumveeMathilda I was thinking about that too, you mean plastic part right? I am still waiting on EUC to clear, for my humvee to release. I am not sure how that lever works coz I haven't seen it in person.
@@mrdato116 it’s metal, not plastic. Some people have done that.

I'm going to order one of these. I'm thinking it's better to hide it under the dash rather than leave it visible to be defeated by a thief.
It's better to let them crank the batteries down, thinking that the truck just doesn't run well.

Awesome video! Just ordered mine after watching this, thank you for posting. Quick question if u don’t mind. What size hole do u think u ended up with at the end to slide the key in?
I didn't measure it, but i used a Step-bit and kept stopping to see if it fit before going to the next step. im guessing about 1/2 inch but im not 100% sure.

as an anti-theft device, its easily defeated with a jumper wire and alligators clips. Seems useless.
Only if you know it’s there. Those who’d steal a humvee aren’t the brightest bulbs in the drawer.
