What a great color and your video is incredibly helpful. I was an oil painter that for wealth reasons moved to acrylics. Lately, I have been reconsidering oils and your videos have been a great inspiration Thank you!
I find oil way superior than acrylic. There is a ton of reasons why, but for quickness and you know exactly what you want the painting to look like acrylic is good for that. It just didn't suit my style of painting because it's not good for adjusting as you go along and sometimes you need to do that but it dries way to quickly for that.
These are very helpful for us, gives us ideas on what to buy, saves a lot of guess work and with the price of the paints you would not want to buy a colour that you would not ever use.
I wish someone would compare Cobalt Teal with Cobalt Teal Blue Shade. I just can't decide between the two! All I know is they are both made of the same pigment, PG 50, and Cobalt Teal is opaque whereas Cobalt Teal Blue Shade is semi-transparent. And the latter is a new-ish addition to Michael Harding's range.
I love your voice... it sounds so beautiful. And this color is marvelous
This video soothed my soul

@@bio-plasmictoad5311 agreed! I just don't care for water based paints, oil to me is more authentic to me and the consistency is what i like
