MH paints are nice but don't compare with Old Holland oil paints. Considering both are above average in price you get more pigment out of Old Holland paints than you do with MH paints. We've tried a number of tubes of both brands and Old Holland are consistently stronger in color and hold up against the whites much better.

This is a mystery paint as it is not listed on MH's website or available on the usual sites - is it new?
Yes, it is new! :)
It looks like a Phtalo blue (red shade).
What's the difference?
I would say it's a lot darker, perhaps even 'blacker' than a phthalo and it is less saturated
oh yes, the new blue of MH, what kind of white was added?
so it's like a "neutral" blue

probably true, but most of the time you dont need the most pigment rich paint.
