I really enjoy and learn so much by this series and I make screen shots of the diluted colors and the mixes fir future reference! Why does OH use two pigments to make Parisan Blue - thought it was just PB 27?

...the phthalo blue in it adds more punch...

@donrogers776 Thank you for the kind words! Good to hear that the videos are helpful! To be honest, I don't know the answer to your question. It could be that PB15 was added to increase lightfastness and saturation, and perhaps also to shift the undertone slightly more towards a greenish blue. But that's just a guess.

@@palnagok1720 True! But that may not be the only reason, I don't know.

Haha, true! In fact this exact same blue colour is known by many different names: Parisian Blue, Prussian Blue, Iron Blue, Berlin Blue, Chinese Blue, Miloro Blue, Delfts blauw, Antwerps Blue, American Blue, Blue Ferrite, Paste Blue, Oriental Blue, Persian Blue, Potash Blue, Ferrocyan Blue, Turnbulls Blue, Bleu de Prusse, Bleu d'Alsace and Eisencyanblau. What's in a name... A lovely colour in this case.
