The trick to remember is that the step kit comes with fasteners for several different hull types. Make sure you use the fasteners specified for your application. The information as to which fasteners to use arein the instructions but you might have to read through a couple of times to verify you are using the correct stuff. Thanks for watching.
I know this video is old but do you have a link for this boarding step. All the ones I find mount to some brackets that are already on the rear of the Seadoo and mine doesn’t have those brackets.
The drill bit was just a standard normal twist drill. I do not recall the exact size bit I used but do remember that the size was specified in the instructions that I downloaded from instructions.brp.com. instructions.brp.com/content/instruction-sheet/en_CA/e-instruction-details.html#googtrans(en)&articleNo=kA00c000000yFIhCAM&lang=en&title=PWC%20KIT%20-%20Ladder%20Kit&rel_part_number=295100742
any time you are drilling, cutting, or sanding fiberglass, you should wear something to cover your mouth and nose. breathing in fiberglass dust is bad.
Great video. Thinking about tackling adding a step on a 2015 GTR 215. I just picked it up today and was surprised to not see a step.

Audio improvements are coming. I now have an off-camera audio recorder and lapel mic so future videos will hopefully have better audio.
