Thanks for the recipe Mr MIH 💥. My go to is Prego or Bertolli. I’ve always stayed away from homemade sauce because I’m in the kitchen for a good time not a long time (pun intended) but this looks doable 👍🏽.
Nailed it! This recipe was KILLER!! My husband raved about it. “Best chicken you’ve ever cooked!” “I could eat that every day!” Thank you. The sauce clinched it!
Cook onions first. Garlic comes second. Once you start to smell the garlic, quickly cover it with sauce. If you don't all the best parts of the garlic go into the air and not into your sauce. Then the garlic will get bitter and make your sauce more bitter. You always want to cover your garlic with whatever you cooking it with the second you smell it.
I checked out so many videos regarding this recipe and No one put the amount of cheese like you did. I am a cheese lover. Your presentation is excellent, mouth watering and gotta have it 2 thumbs up. Gonna make this dish this week. Update: I made this dish and it came out excellent. Just like they make it at my favorite restaurant 👍 Thanks for the recipe.
I have been debating for days what to cook for dinner for my niece today. I was thinking either Chicken with Alfredo Noodles or Chicken Parmesan. I believe I'm goin with Chicken Parm with homemade marinara sauce (your recipe). Thanks goodness, I have all the ingredients I need. Looks seriously sooo DEEE-LICIOUS!! Cannot wait. I'm so sure we are goin to LOVE IT!!! Thanks loads for always sharing with us such TASTY & FAB RECIPES!! Arlene
Wow! I ended up making this tonight and it turned out absolutely fabulous Mr. Make it happen! Followed your recipe to the exact letter and it turned out great. Made the sauce the same as you do. After 8 hours of being gone from home, when I got home that beautiful aroma is still there. Definitely making this one again. Thanks😎👊🏾
I love this recipe and if I have a jarred sausage rails but I still add stuff to that one too but most the time I make my own my 17-year-old son said he likes it better when I make it so that’s a huge compliment coming from him we love chicken Parm glad we found you
I usually make my own marinara sauce, pretty much the same method you made yours. In a pinch, I do use store bought Brand - Victoria Marinara sauce. It is a lower carb marinara sauce comparable to the Rao's brand and a less expensive. Also I have made the swap from using panko bread crumbs to using panko style pork rinds, they are no carbs. I do my best to cut back on carbs where I can, but I do love pasta.
@@hitzoneproductions7858 no I never heard of anyone using some other cheese for this dish but thank you for the idea because I’m gonna do that when I make it 🫶🏼👍🏼
Tomato Paste: My mom has ALWAYS used Contadina tomato paste which is what I use. I've tried other brands but always come back to this one. Fresh Garlic: Always. Yellow Onion: It's a little sweeter but it kinda replaces the sugar to cut down on the acidity of the tomato paste and the stewed tomatoes for my homemade sauce. Still a pinch of sugar works.
I do both. I actually have been using your recipe for my sauce it’s amazing! As far as store bought for my Marinara I love Barilla and if making regular Spaghetti it’s Prego!
@@brandanholman453 Of course everything is subjective, but I like it and feel as though the cost is worth it. That said, I always try to find it on sale. The ingredients are fairly simple and It seems like a good value to me. What’s really good is when I brown some Italian sausage then remove. I use a little red wine to deglaze the pan. Add the Rao’s, a little water and simmer briefly before adding the sausage back in. Let it cook for as long as you’re able. (Of course until the meat is cooked through) I find it tastes special and homemade for a quick meal. Victoria is a good alternative too.
tried this recipe 2 days ago for the wife. she likes chicken parm, i have never tried it. she loved it. the chicken came out crispy, and she said the sauce was better than olive garden. thanks, good stuff man.
I make my sauce very similar to yours, I also add chicken bouillon (I have pretty much replaced it for salt, so flavorful) as well as fresh sprigs of thyme and Rosemary.
Yummy...looks delicious. My go to Marinara is either Rao's or White Linen (Costco) and I add italian sausage, onion, garlic and herbs/spices. The better the quality ingredients and the better it tastes. Finish off with real parm/reg :) Thanks for sharing.
Wow, you look so young without your cap! Definitely love chicken 🐔 and eggplant 🍆 parmigiana! I usually make heros with homemade sauce on toasted garlic bread. As far as a jar sauce, Barilla is very good and not too expensive. Also, some lesser know Italian brands that are excellent are Botticelli and Victoria. Love that you used FRESH mozzarella and basil. More folks should explore fresh ingredients to elevate their cooking skills. Great recipe and video, as always Mr. Make it Happen!
So grateful that I came across your channel! I’ve been in search of new recipes and will definitely be trying this! I also watched one of your previous videos where you made collard greens and babyyyy! Let me tell you, I made it exactly the way you did and they are so delicious! *chef kiss* I had been making them wrong this entire time! And never knew that I could add the ingredients that you did (celery, bay leaves, thyme) Can’t wait to try to this chicken Parmesan! And I will definitely be booking you for my birthday dinner considering that you are relatively close.
Nice save at the end when you noticed the lack of sauce under the chicken. I truly enjoy your videos and the succinct brevity of the content. I mean really who needs to watch prep work being done ad nauseum.
Another amazing dish, Mr. Price! Made this tonight and it was better than every chicken parm I’ve had at ANY restaurant, seriously. I made my pasta with Alfredo and then I made some roasted broccoli with garlic, Parmesan and lemon. Good LAWD you’ve got my family eating well! We are blessed, man. Thank you as always for sharing this goodness with us.
When I’m in a rush, I buy Prego and add a can of crushed tomatoes. I love your recipes and already made your baked rigatoni and the family loved it! Lookin good!!
I don't even have any idea why chicken parm is one of my favorite comfort foods. I didn't grow up eating it, my first time I had it had to be in a restaurant. I love making my favorite restaurant meals at home. I've honestly been kind of discouraged making chicken parm at home. I have never found the right recipe. THIS IS IT!!!!!!!! One of the main reasons I love cooking at home is the control of the ingredients. I like my food spicy so I added more pepper flakes and it was PERFECT. It was so good. I made sure that I had leftovers so that I can have one piece for dinner and another piece right now for breakfast . THANK YOU for this recipe so simple yet so frickin DELICIOUS! * Insert chef's kiss*
Crazy that I was just online looking for a Chicken Parm recipe then I go to UA-cam and there you are with one! The ones I looked at had way too many steps. Your recipe looks easy! My favorite marinara sauce is Rao's. Currently it's the best on the market. It's expensive but you get what you pay for and it's so worth it! Your Chicken Parm looks delicious!
I used to by all my sauces from the store but you, Jamie Oliver, and some Pinterest recipes have helped me enjoy making pasta sauce from scratch. And it’s more flavorful than the store bought and doesn’t dry out in the fridge.
I make my sauce in the crackpot while I'm at work. Now it's not as lovingly made with sautéed garlic and onion (I dump and go) but it's still better than jarred.
My go to is fresh marinara from the Pizza Place across the street… most delicious Sauce EVER. 1 Qt. $8… No fuss No muss.. I use it for every recipe calling for Marinara ❤❤❤❤❤

I use Victoria vodka sauce because it is my wifes favorite. Then add to begin fresh minced garlic, finely chopped onion , dried oregano, basil and parsley. Parmesan/Romano cheese. For the breading I use Italian Styal bread crumbs add all the dried seasonings above with the usual flour, egg, mixture.
