Hi Ian. Interesting to follow up on the original vlog on the silver thermal blind. Looks as if this will be a step-up and be a really useful addition. Looking forward to seeing how well it works. Thanks again. George and Trish - The CaravanningMacs
Well I laughed and laughed. And I strangely want to order a curtain as you sold it so well!! I don’t need a curtain but it just sounds so lovely and soft!! 😂
Hi Ian, glad you’re almost there with your blackout curtain. I’m looking at something for my van too. By the way, you could’ve just held the curtain up to the light behind you for the blackout test 😂👍
Thanks Sue. Lovely to hear from you. Hope you’re doing ok. The last blackout curtain video is out on Monday. I’m not 100% happy but it’s the best I can do. It’s only to be used when wild camping. 👍🏻
😂 Do enjoy your enthusiasm for anything you do in your moho and it makes for enjoyable vlogs, we hang a blanket up in our 1996 coach-built which has a drafty cab and it works perfect. Had a night away last week in the cold stops 99% of drafts and makes the cab area easier to warm, as yours is an Amazon professional thermal blanket 😂😂😂 I can only assume it's better. Enjoying the vlogs keep them coming, oh the wife's says turn the curtain around so the hem is facing the cab area.
Cheers Ian, Very interesting & entertaining vlog as usual, you're rapidly becoming one of our favourite comedians😂🤣😂👏... We look forward to the next episode.... All the best mate, Steve & Ang...👍
Yeah that’s what I thought. I will have a wild camp soon to try it but I don’t think it will stop the condensation. Maybe it will help a bit. Definitely keeps the heat in and the light out though so I’m happy. 👍🏻
Great vid Ian .. replace press studs with those super strong magnets? I've just realised I must have a magnet fetish :) I have a list of about 20 things I need to do when I get my van from all this great ideas :)
Thanks Daz. I did think about magnets. I haven’t rules it out yet. Difficult to find the best way to do stuff when there’s so many different ways to get the same result. You just have to do what works best for you. I do what my skill level for diy allows. 😂
Errm…….is Julie going to like that? I think a grey curtain would have looked a bit more homely 🤣. Good idea though, might do something similar one day in our van. Good effort Ian and funny too!!!
Julie doesn’t talk to me much these days so I will never know if she likes it or not. Hope you enjoyed the video. Final part of it on Monday. I had what I thought was a good idea but turns out it was just an idea. 😂😂😂
hi ian you do make me laugh ( magic circle will be shitting them selfs) do they not do a black out blind in a lighter colour to match the inside of your van 😮🥰🥰
I haven’t seen one that matches my van but I might go back to the prototype. Still undecided. Want it to look good but has to be functional too. I may have an issue with dog hair with the new one. Time will tell. 👍🏻
I think it’s a good idea as you know but I’m not sure on the metal pole hoops I think that looks gash… sorry mate but I’d have tried to find a “blank” one.
Yes mate I agree. I’m thinking of cutting them off and turning the bottom over. I might go back to the prototype yet. The dog hair doesn’t stick to that one. 😩

Thanks stevie. Grand finale of the curtain saga on Monday at 6. 👍🏻 you’re too kind.
i have heating on overnight when its freezing outside but you do need to sleep in it to get the condensation.

Entertaining and useful as always Ian but don't give up the day job to become a magician either😂.
Ha ha ha. Thanks Tim. It didn’t fool the dogs either to be honest. 😂

Just think of the dog hair sticking to the black curtain, stick to the plastic one easier to clean. Great video
I hear you Maggie. I have already noticed a few stray dog hairs. I will monitor the situation. 👍🏻
Hilarious Ian. To me to you!!!!!!!
Thanks Karlos. Pleased you enjoyed it. 👍🏻
