"Make sure that you remember to put my HotWheels firetruck in my tomb with me when I die. I'm not sure what the afterlife will be like, but I _do_ know that I'll be needing my firetruck.
Yo, your videos are so good, I love how you don't use any stupid jumpscare to make your videos scarier, and you still make them intersting; keep it up!
That was a great and intresting list. Its so strange to see allie mac in Smallville now but the most intresting story out of these for me were the african tribe that eats their loved ones after dead because there is no cruel intend or fanatic intend behind it.
The painting shown of Delphine Lalaurie is actually Marie Laveau. I used to think mummification was strange but that in comparison to eating them is nothing. You shouldn't breathe in bone dust I can't see how you should eat them either.
She was imprisoned in a castle in relative luxury and just ‘watched’ as punishment. If they wanted to get rid of her they would have exacted capital punishment. That tells me it must be true that she did those things.
The breaking of a corpses bones is normal and is still a part of modern funeral care. You cant get a body in a casket if they died in an awkward position, so bones must be broken to get them in.
@@angrybidoof847 The rate rigor mortis depends on the environment of the corpse and the person, it can be much shorter or longer depending on the person. After rigor mortis the body begins to rapidly decompose, gases and fluids may be released etc. If great gran dies the body will be picked up quickly, in the early stages of rigor mortis, and put in a chiller to 'pause' the process - so when shes removed, she may still be very rigid, requiring breakages to fit the casket.
Why do you have a picture of the Danish “Grauballemanden” 0:46 - a body from around 290 BC found in a marsh near Grauballe. One of the best preserved from that era in exsistence. I doubt that he died from eating too much honey....🤪🤔
Fascinating video. I once read that the Tibetan sky burial is also about the vultures carrying the soul to heaven which i thought was strange cos surely it gets excreted back down? Lol
Budhist traditions have this concepts called anatta and sunyata, wich lead them to think there is no soul, unchanging selves or substantiality in matter, so a dead is one little part of the universe ready to keep changing as we all samsara dwellers always do
Surprisingly, the most disturbing of the practices were not done by indigenous tribes or Buddhist monks, but by that nxivm cult or however it's spelled

Not creepy but dumb traditions or ceremonies. Although the iraninan one feeding the corpse back to nature i like and i kinda understand even tho i would be disgust, when that indigen tribe eat the corpses of their loved ones so they can live on in them.
Thanks. Hehe - I wish all high-ranked "nobles" who served "great leaders" like Lenin, Stalin, Hitler, Mao, Castro, Kims and so forth were, upon those death, also sacrificed to serve their now dead "Masters" in the afterlife.
Surely the most creepy tradition is the over agressive criticizing only and specifically on the way the video narrator prenounces "bathed" by the overly sensitive folks 😜

Coolest mummy _I've_ ever seen.
I'm on a binge of morbid and crazy videos HERE WE GO

So interesting! Well done!!👏
Interesting subject, great video! Thank you 💜
Concerning Batory, apparently her dark legend was fabricated just to get rid of her and tak over her riches.
That's a hypothesis some historians have, however it's never been proven.
She was imprisoned in a castle in relative luxury and just ‘watched’ as punishment. If they wanted to get rid of her they would have exacted capital punishment. That tells me it must be true that she did those things.
Excellent! Another great video. Your channel is a fav of mine. Thanks 😊

Why is that?
I thought rigor mortis only effected the muscles and only last about 36 hours.
Unless something else is going on
