The bird on the long stick is something, I have never seen something like that and I am a very active hunter of vintage and antique pieces, a little too much actually. I often resell them because I end up with too much but I am very passionate about old objects. I also love thrifting, I think that my favorite finds are the thrifted ones. All your treasures are beautiful and very original. I imagine that according to where we live, we will find different things.
I think we have the same love for vintage and antiques! I have so many pieces, loads more than I showed on the video, but they bring me such joy, and I love changing them out and breathing new life into my decor that way. I thought the same thing about the bird on the stick, I'd never seen anything like it either! Thanks or watching!
I actually just found your videos last night and had commented about one of your side table vignettes and saw that same statue on the table, that's a great find, it's absolutely beautiful. I also loved the Lila lamp. Thanks for all the tips and advice for finding antique and vintage. I really loved your video about cocooning, but I'm trying to stick with my Feng Shui colors of Gold, Silver and Ochoa. Have you decorated using your Feng Shui colors before? I'm glad you had the paint video too, it helped me find some colors I can work with. Love all your videos! Thank you!
Awe, yay!!! I’m so happy you found our channel! I’ve never decorated exclusively with feng shui colors. When I was growing up, my mom was an interior designer, and she used feng shui principles in almost every one of her designs! It’s such a cool concept 🤎🤎
So beautiful !! I have a box of decorations for each month, so I have different styles, color palettes, textiles and materials for each month. I have picked up a few things that I wouldn't normally care about in order to experiment with different materials, etc. such as vintage copper. That has been fun. I have posted vignette pictures on my Facebook page for the last year, and one of the most favorite was a mostly white pitcher with berries with a tablecloth in the background. My friends seem to like my vignettes with red in them. Your style is so unique, I would never think of buying the things you bought, but you pull them all together and I love it. It is beautiful. I favor more the Eastern European folk art style, and bright colors in general, so it is interesting to see beautiful vignettes with absolutely no yellow or red for example. It is interesting to see what other people like, and I'm glad we are not all alike! .
I love that you rotate your decor each month! Such a fun way to try out new things and experiment with styling! And I couldn't agree more, it's so fun to see and hear what others are drawn to, I love that we all have different and unique styles!
This video was so informative! Thank you. I enjoy thrift shopping so next time I go I will use some of your tips. Especially like the vintage versus antiquing explanation.
Great tips. I love how you mix vintage with contemporary and it all goes together so beautifully.I wondered if you have an aversion to candles. I didn't notice any. Maybe I just missed them. Candle snuffers without candles just seemed odd to me.
First of all thank you! And actually, there are oil candle next to each of the snuffers, they are made out of beautiful handmade glass and honestly look like a little glass works of art! I designed them and have them made in a family owned workshop in Poland. They're one of my favorite things in my collection!!
Love your informative videos and styling techniques. If you are able to verbalize the cost of the item in a quick fashion that would be helpful. It helps us understand the value of an item. I LOVE your sweet soft voice!
Ohhh,,, I love this, all of it. What wonderful finds. Not sure I should confess this. I was in CA last week, found a nice pottery piece (bowl w/lid). Bought it, had to ship it home to myself, (lol) did not want to drag it onward with me to NY. I am a week behind on your videos, I will catch up, yeah, it will be 2 videos for me this week!
Awesome video! It was so inspirational. It really helped me in what to look for. I wasn't sure if I could mix new and vintage/antiques pieces and mix of metal and glass on a scape. My question is, if there's a signed print picture from an artist who lived from 1760-1810 is it worth buying since it's a sign print not one of a kind? Thank you for helping me.
I really want to love vintage and antique pieces, but I just can't seem to get there. I love watching vintage decor videos and think the look is beautiful in the right place and I love traditional style, but when I try it, it just looks like someone else's old stuff. I do have pieces from my mom and grandmother but they are tucked away in a hutch.
Totally understandable! I feel like you really have to find vintage/antique pieces that speak to your personal style, and when you do, it will just click! Maybe mixing vintage pieces you love with more modern accessories will make them feel like they fit your style. I love mixing, it’s what brings the older pieces to life in my opinion!
I love all of videos and that little back bowl! I am a fellow Arkansan from the beautiful little town of Ozark on the Arkansas river near Ft Smith. I want to visit these shops. What is the name of the second shop?

I’ve been to a lot of antique shops but I’ve never seen alabaster grapes. Is it a southern thing??

I love all of videos and that little back bowl! I am a fellow Arkansan from the beautiful little town of Ozark on the Arkansas river near Ft Smith. I want to visit these shops. What is the name of the second shop?
Hi neighbor, thank you!! The second shop was Midtown Antiques, it’s in LR on Markham. ❤️
Beautiful
Thank you!
New subscriber and love your decor and found treasures
Yay!! Thank you!
What is the name of the second shop you visited?
You inspired me
How kind! Thanks for watching!
Nice
Thank You!
It's so strange to think something from the 30s or 40s wouldn't be considered antique yet. But good to know!
Right, it does seem strange! Thanks so much for watching!
❤❤❤
Thanks for watching!!
