If I worked for Crystal Dynamics, I'd hire you asap and set you to work on music for new LoK game. Even as a consultant. Heck, you should probably try applying there. Send your YT work resampling as portfolio. Mhm. Focal Clear + JDS Labs Element III + SoundID Reference, and I'm blown away. And that's just Headphones. It's too late right now to try on Loudspeaker Lintons, but this on YT already sounds blasphemously good. How does it even sound in uncompressed? 🤯 Mighty fine work. Cheers
Thank you very much! I'm happy that you like it, I do try my very best to make the stuff sound at least halfway decent. Working on a real LOK game... Wouldn't that be something eh?? But I don't think I'm at that level yet, plus no one knows who the heck I am, so... I'd be more than happy to work on some fan game for now though, if the opportunity arises.
As much as I love the original Soul Reaver soundtrack, I love your reinterpretations. Ruined City - one of my most favorite tracks in all videogames I ever played - absolutely killed me, and now you're back with another banger. Definitely would have a run in SR once again with this music.
This last month was pretty hard for me, I needed something to cheer me up, and you release this. Your timing couldn't be better. Thanks, as always this reinterpretation rules
Right?? Drowned Abbey always feels like a chore until you get the ability to swim. And even then, I dislike water levels in geral. Great atmosphere though!
Like always your giving us the best reddition of LOK soundtrack! I love it so much ! It's so extraordinary I can't wait for more Soul Reaver and Blood Omen tracks remade by you
This is a great recreation of the Drowned Abbey, one of my favorite BGMs in Soul Reaver. Only thing I don't like is the main tune (organ) @ 3:52 being sorta drowned out. Sometimes less is more. I would love to have a version without that instrument playing over the organ, but it's okay if that's not possible, still great work!
Hey man, that's fair enough. I did go back and forth with that one, and ended up liking it a bit more like it is. Sometimes less is more indeed, I'm with you on that. Thanks for the feedback!
@@biodynamic91 Good on you for accepting feedback, this is the mark of someone who always strives to improve, which is the true path to success. I wish you the best my friend.
You never disappoint, another masterpiece! If I close my eyes I can see Raziel swimming for the first time soon after absorbing Rahab's soul, and giving good bye to all those lethal pools in the game!
Been listening for some time, this time on Lintons w/ Audiolabs 6000A. The song 100% requires a larger room, due to a pretty wide soundstage. Been listening this on -31dB, and w/o any EQ. The lows were brilliantly executed, the highs were non-fatiguing, but for whatever reason the bell sound was drawn back ever so slightly. Was this intentional? Maybe not by a lot, I'd say by maybe 3dB-4 dB. Which isn't bad, far from it, it is just that the song is magical on Focal Clears and sound stage was so accurate, that I had a smile all the time.. I only wish others would have same or similar experience with listening to your compositions. Cheers!
Thanks! I love how much care you put into listening to the music, I think that's not very common these days so it's great to see some people still do care about their listening environment. Regarding the bell sound, I didn't want to much on front but enough to be noticeable, but you know how these things are, on different speakers some things tend to sometimes disappear a bit, or come a bit more to the foreground, depending on their natural curve. Cheers!
Is this the Dreamcast or the PC version it's still sick asf I like the playstation version but this version is is nice as hell my 1st time hearing this version
This is some exceptionally high quality stuff! Unbelievable!
The combat theme sounds like a stage from Mortal Kombat and the Danger theme I have always loved the organ is ❤
I'm blown away. This straight up sounds like music that would be used in a remake/remaster/update of Soul Reaver. This is amazing

@@biodynamic91 I mean, Bio Dynamic, Crystal Dynamics. It wouldn't be that much of a change. Things just get more...crystalized. 💎
@@nentj Haha good one!
Another masterpiece.
If they ever make a remake of legacy of kain, you have to apply to write the ost!
Oh man, I'd do that in a heartbeat given the chance. My stuff is not really at that level yet, but I'd give it my best shot for sure.
Yes I'm so fuckimg hyped for this!
That transition @3:23 is 🔥
Why y’all sending my boy over to SE.?? 😂😂 SE’s got nothing to do with this franchise anymore. Amazing stuff man, you are talented

Oh how badly I would love to add this masterpiece to my collection ❤
Thank you! Not sure if that's what you meant, but if you want you can download the track from the link in the description.
@@biodynamic91 I am afraid that I don't see any link in the description but I will look again.
@@nikoskazalakis6037 Sorry, my bad, it wasn't there indeed... I've added it now. :)

Another epic interpretation :) Just can't wait for others like necro :)

Wow, thanks! I should do a Blood Omen track soon if all goes according to plan. Thank you for your support.
