Used your idea on an old urine stained recliner and it worked like magic. I smeared a damp rag all over the seats and I let the white residual dawn sit for 10 minutes and wiped it off with dry old towels. Thank you!

Always try dabbing the stain with warm water using a towel first. This will work if you get to a stain right away. It is really hard to get soap out of carpet, even after rinsing it and using towels to absorb the water. I wouldn’t use more than 3 drops of dawn.
