It doesn't change.....apart from the traction ! I proposed to my wife on the beach down from the ice cream hut that summer ,wrote it in the sand ,she expected,and then we watched trains lol The building on the front with the two turrets ,which then was a fish restaurant,was my mother and fathers wedding reception venue,and the church which is also in the film on the hill(Exeter road) the place of the wedding . Nice one Trevor ! ....Andy

Dawlish has been a massive part of my life ,and I've seen some things happen over the years..way too many lol The old lookout post on top of the kennaway tunnel had the Dawlish home guards during ww2 in which my grandfather spent many a night on lookout. Dad worked the railway,mum was a singer /entertainer . Thanks for your wonderful films Trevor,I wish I could have filmed a bit more ! Just about to give the museum in Dawlish some photos of my mum in her entertaining day's at the hut theatre, which is where the car park is now by the museum. Cheers,Andy
