Unfortunately you can’t once you save the document but in files you can create a folder and put all the documents in them so they are organized. Like on the computer.
On the tags? It’s to short to make a video. Think of tags like labeling things in your house. You label all kitchen items kitchen, all garage item’s garage etc.. So as you save more files or scan them, you can organize them with Tags. Maybe all scans from a specific client or month etc. I don’t use tags myself all that much but it makes things easier to find when using the search bar. That way when you search for say that month or name of your tag all of those files will pop up.

Thanks! Unfortunately that’s a Gmail limitation. You would have to either make the video smaller or compress it. Other then that you would have to load it using Google drive or off you have drop box or other online storage services.
If they have gmail you can share the file in Google drive with them. Drop box is similar but different company. Just look up how to share videos with drop box or Google drive. Think of it like a folder on your computer. You basically put the video in the folder and share the folder to the person via email.
What about the file size issue. It’s a huge file 22,6 MB in your video (so are my Scans on my iPhone) für just 1-3 Pages. This is way to high for storing lots of PDFs especially u want it to send via email or platforms, which have often file size restrictions. On a regular scanner device u can setup dpi and force the file size to be 1MB instead of 22 MB. This is really crazy
Seems like it’s a known issue. Apple says to reduce the size on a Mac which does work but is way to many steps in my opinion. Try scanning with the notes app and changing it to greyscale or other options and see if it helps. I have the video on my channel on how to do it with the notes app. I just can’t test to see if it’s better at the moment.
I entered the ones that were most asked about. Unfortunately the iPhone 7 is like the middle. 6s users are always wondering if they are left out, iPhone 8/SE wonder if it works with their home button devices and then the 12/13 are newer. It works with all iPhones with iOS 13 though

For future searches, you can see a videos length on the thumbnail before you click. You can fast forward the video and can even watch the video in 2.5x speed.

Is the document quality iany lower using the Files app than it is using the Notes app?
To the eye I haven’t been able to see a difference but that’s as far as I know.

Tags are a ways to quickly categorize files folders or notes so you can search later by that tag and they all pop up.

You can’t unless you know of a 3rd party app that does that. I don’t. Otherwise you can just take a pic and crop it to save it as a jpg.
