How To Scan Documents On iPhone
This is a tutorial on how to scan on iPhone. You will learn how to scan documents on iPhone 15 Pro Max, scan receipts and paper using the notes app or the Files Application. This will work on pretty much any iOS 17 iPhone like the iPhone 14 Pro, iPhone XS or iPhone SE 2022. It will also work on iPad OS 17 devices like the iPad Pro.
If you want a free way to scan documents on the iPhone, this video is for you. Additionally, you can scan files into PDF for print or even email them out. This is perfect for lawyers, contractors, real estate agents, or anytime you need to digitize a paper document to your iPhone.
Scanning files on the iPhone is extremely easy and allows you to streamline documentation and receipt records for a business or to quickly send something on paper via email.

I’m always amazed when I learn just how useful these phones are. I;ve scanned to Notes a few times it’s quite an intuitive task. I usually have to relearn how to carry out tasks with my phone, but it’ll always be that way, as I don’t do these things very often. Thanks for the vid.

Great video. I am scanning documents only for purpose of emailing but I noticed the scans are starting to pile up in my photos file. Any way of scan, PDF, and emailing without them also going into my photos??

Iphone 13 here. It didn't have the controls on the top like yours did when you opened 'create document'. But I found a place that said to upgrade the application. I did that and now the controls show up. That might be something you need to add to your tutorial.

Well, OH, I use notes all the time. Never knew it scanned. Grabbed a book, Pride & Predacious lol, scanned as a test, it worked. I got the pen, scribbled a note on top of page - it worked and saved - Yippee Ta & so much more it can do 😊
I pinned to the top as I have too many things in Notes.

I saved my scanned documents the first way through the notes and it won’t let me email it for some reason. “Couldn’t add people; a link couldn’t be created for you to share”….. maybe you can say why????
