I actually roll and press (painfully) on my IT band as it flares up, and after that, it actually feels better. I also do all of the exercises your recommend my friend, and a hearty thank you!
Omg you have just described all my pain Started in r/hip then lower in leg now its pulling just under my knee. I'm in uk and all physios have been no help. So frustrating. I will try the bridge and build up to single leg. Thankyou
OMG! I have had precisely this for the last few weeks and I couldn't figure out what my knee cap feeling pulled off to the outside had to do with my SI injury. Plus I kept blaming my piriformis for the pain on my trocantor? That nobly bit at the top of my leg/hip joint. It's uncanny you put this video out today as I hVe all these symptoms right now. Thank you so much for this video. You has got the smarts!
Excellent, thank you. For years I've experienced pain in my right knee when doing Bridge, and no one was ever able to explain to me why that was happening or how to make it stop. I'm deeply grateful for this information -- I know what to do now!
This was very informative, thank you. I had experienced tightness in the area you mention as well as exacerbated irritation in the IT band and hip when doing the standard glute bridge. . It looks like the straight-leg version will be useful for me. Thanks again!
Wow you explained all my symptoms in that illustration of the pelvic tilt, lower back pain, knee pain, sciatica and now hip pain ! And used to do glute bridge but not anymore because it aggrivates my knee pain
I think bingo ! this is the first time in all the videos etc by PT's Etc that I have ever seen this written about and it does strike a chord I'm sure of it! I can't wait to share it with my chiropractor . Still cannot do a bridge it just feels like my spine won't allow it but dang it if you didn't come up with something that I kind of discovered myself and didn't know how effective it would be but the straight legs on top of the exercise ball I'll be focusing on that more
If u r doing them as Dr. Pebbles teaches then yes. I'm a little halfway through his program, 5 weeks and have done bridge progressions everyday and my body hasn't felt better in a very long time. I think its important to note thay I have stayed away from bridge for most of my life as I would generally feel worse afterwords. His work on the anchor progressions drastically helped how I was doing bridge.
Before I purchase the master classes, I need more information. I'm having trouble downloading videos from UA-cam premium to my SD card. They don't go into a download folder on the SD card or the internal drive. They remain on UA-cam. When I download the Master Class I want to keep each class on my SD card and cast to my smart TV so I can go at my own pace. Do the classes download from your website? Do I have to use UA-cam?
Hi Karen, thank you for reaching out! The masterclass presentation is completely free, and you can watch it here: www.corebalancetraining.com/masterclass. We host our program through Kajabi, and the videos are not downloadable. Access to our program requires an active membership, but we do provide two downloadable videos upon completion of the course. If you want to stream on a larger screen like a TV, many of our students use screen sharing or connect their computer to their TV using an HDMI cord for a larger screen experience. Our UA-cam videos are free supplemental content, but they are not part of the program and are not available for offline viewing. If you have any other questions, please let us know! 😊
U can try to use yr hands to hug both knees towards yr chest, hold for 30 seconds, is to stretch yr glute muscles. Repeat few times. Hope this will helps u :) God bless u well 😇
I tend to keep my core anchors alive all the way till laying in prone.. then keep breathing into my core.. and still keep active core as I roll to side and gently push up into side sitting. Keep that core active and move slowly👍
Hi, when I try to stand up slowly due to muscle pain in thighs, I feel like my thigh ligaments are ripping apart andI hear a sound like rubber bands grinding together, what might this be, kind regards
-ae in Latin is pronounced ‘ee’. So vertebrae (two or more bones in the back) is pronounced verte-bree (like the cheese Brie). Tensor fasciae latae is pronounced fash-ee lat-ee. Fascia is pronounced differently. Fash-ee-a. But fasciae is not the same word as fascia.
Your presentation, style & pace are 2nd to none 🏆 Much gratitude, sir!

Is it okay to do bridges every day?

How do I get off the floor after doing bridges? My SI flares up every time I get off the floor.
Same here, I can’t even get to lay in the floor, it hurts too much!
