Revit can be so disappointing. All these workarounds, for basic topography. You’d think they’d have it figured out by now. Good on you for figuring something out!
This isn't working for me. When I create the mass, even though I get the same warning message, I don't actually have a mass. Since I don't have a mass, I have nothing to map the roof to. I followed everything you did seemingly exactly. Can't figure it out. Its the spot at 1:14 exactly where when I click the green finish check, the toposurface doesn't have the orange model inside it. Edit: Nevermind, it did create the mass, but for some reason it's elevated way above the rest of my toposurface.
Great work But this isn't working for me. I have the same problem like the other guy: "When I create the mass, even though I get the same warning message, I don't actually have a mass. Since I don't have a mass, I have nothing to map the roof to. I followed everything you did seemingly exactly. Can't figure it out. It's the spot at 1:13 exactly where when I click the green finish check, the top surface doesn't have the orange model inside it." And after that, at 1:22, I couldn`t select anything to create a roof. I try to do the same way that guy is doing, but it didn`t work. Plz help!
Cool video, but how would you hide those lines that come up when the sidewalk is created. I tried to hide this in the visibility settings under the roof category but it doesn't work. Thx!
I do this but instead of a roof from the mass I want to create a floor from mass but it won't let me select anything when i choose floor from mass - why?
Thank you for the video, but the rest of topography is bellow the curb and pavement and if we try to move the topography up, we will move also the road level. So, is there a solution to this?
Thank for watching Ionnis Zorgianos,....;)if I understand your question correctly, no need to move your topography, you just need to create "Level" for your topography on the Elevation. If your using "Toposurface" Adjust your Toposurface Points Elevation to match the Curb and Pavement....good luck!
Truely questıon ıs wıerdç If I get ıt rıghtö sınce the dwg ıs also lınked to revıt fıle and ıf we lınk CAD ınto revıt ınstead of sımple ınsert, then, whatever changes we make at toposurface, are going to be reflected automatically in file.... But, guessing that it will slow down the whole process....
This is good, but the issue is that your curb/sidewalk doesn't usually sit above grade. Also you did everything way too fast (it's too sped up) and it was hard to follow.
Great Video. Worked great the first time I tried it. Now, every time I import my CAD I get "Import detected no valid elements in the file's Model space. Do you want to import from the Paper space?" When I open the file in AutoCAD there isn't anything there. Seems to be a problem with the export. Anyone else have this problem?
Where did all these additional lines come from, they weren't there in the last video and they weren't part of the import. You need to work on making proper videos,
SO FAR... .ONE OF THE GREATEST VIDEOS!!!!!!!! LOVED IT
TRULY LOVED IT!!!!
SUBSCRIBED & WILL BE WAITING FOR MORE VIDEOS!!!!

Thanks for watching Vincent, try to double the "Level"
I have an exact same problem! Plz tell me how do u find a solution for that!
@@NonStopLearning101 Changing the level doesn't do anything. I moved it to overlay the isolated element and it still made no difference
Amazing...
Thank you! Cheers!
Great work

thankz for watching... I will check the raw file and if I can send it to you
Is it possible to make so you don't have all those lines or are we stuck with that?
Cool video, but how would you hide those lines that come up when the sidewalk is created. I tried to hide this in the visibility settings under the roof category but it doesn't work. Thx!
Thankz for watching, try to use different visual style

thankz for watching. double check your model and check the properties

man, that was clever! thanks a lot ^^
Thankz for watching nour mustafa.. :)
Hi nice video it works but when i section it the roof category is not showing on section view?
This is good, but the issue is that your curb/sidewalk doesn't usually sit above grade.
Also you did everything way too fast (it's too sped up) and it was hard to follow.
Thanks for watching, you can adjust the playback speed under setting
Good video but far too quick passed gave me eye strain
Thankz a lot Jbf Bro for watching. :)
Hi Bro, message here your question, maybe I could help.
you can change playback speed on youtube videos

Thanks for watching Species... try to use "LinkCad"..good luck
Im sure there must be some Dynamo way to create that curb instead of clicking one by one...
yes sure
Great help!! Would be great if you could share the Curb profile link please
Also, while creating pavements after making roads, a lot of these error messages keep coming about sub regions intersecting..any solutions on that?
Thankz for watching D'Silva D'Silva... ;) Kindly give your email address... thankz for the positive commentz!
Could you send me the file email: yunus.1905.25@hotmail.com
It's purplezahr@gmail.com . Thanks a ton!!
The file was sent @ Yunus Aydin... EnjoY!
I like the video, but it was frustrating because it was soooo fast. I kept having to replay, please keep speed in mind when creating turtorials
yes, I will take note on that
I noticed you had site designer why did you go about using the method you used versus using site designer?
thankz for watching... you can use both method
No hay una manera mas sencilla de hacer eso? que trabajón...
thanks for watching
not compatible with revit 2018
This video is all about look what I can do. Hardly anybody can follow along.
thankz for watching...
funny coz I had to speed it up by 1.5 so I don't die out of boredom :) Great Video ;)
I LOVE YOU
Glad you liked it

Too complicated, is not there something simpler and more intuitive?
thankz for watching
Good video, but struggle to keep up. Please slow it down :)
