Very good video, thanks! How did you manage to keep the contours line from the topography on the newly created floor? I've turned off interior edges in "floors" and left the contours on in "topography"
Thank you very much, it's very useful, but the problem is: if we make a side cut on the road, we don't get horizontality, I think that only Infraworks can do it !!! Or we can modify the sub elements manually.
Old American I solved the problem by upgrading to Revit 18 and updating to latest version of dynamo and clockwork... I had to uninstall and reinstall everything and it worked.
Help Please: While following the procedure, slab acts weird means slab certain points only get transfer while other remains in same exactly position. any idea how to sort it out?
Great tutorial... Thanks... This helped me a lot... I have a question... after I finish the floor following the topo... I have still the floor and subregion in selection mode... I have tired pressing "esc" several time but it is still in selection mode how do i come out of tht...could you help me with this...pls?
i can't hit the select botton, it is unclickable, i noticed you had the same problem in the begining of the tutorial, how did you resolve it? and thank you for the video
Hi, First of all, thanks for the tutorial. However, i dont know why mine keeps popping up with errors either "Floor and roof too thin for its given type" or "Slab Shape Edit failed". Have you got a solutions for this? Thanks
Oh my god! In Archicad takes just for clicks to do that and even better, in Revit you have to spend months or years to understand completely this, this is absolutely absurd!
WTF, I don't believe that i did this in less than 10 minutes!! thanks a lot for your help!!! Was very Helpful!
THANK YOU 🙏🏻 I was looking for a vídeo just like that and thanks god that I find yours ❤️ You save a Brazilians architecture student 👩🎓🙌🏻👏🏻
You can use dynamo to create the floor boundary from the subregion sketch.
on the back?
floor.slabshape node not working in revit 2021 !! big problem....

Thank you! However the custom node in clockwork no longer works in Cpython3. Is there any way to update that?
: ( Same here, mark
Same here... very frustrating situation
Man, you're an angel, thank you so much

good day! I keep trying this but why does it say " Slab shape edit failed"?
Hi, did you manage to solve this problem? I keep getting the same error message. Thanks
I have the same message as well!

I'm already on the latest versions of clockwork and dynamo, still having the same problem. It looks like it worked fine, what's wrong with it?!
I solve the problem by using this way : ua-cam.com/video/iO1B6G9w240/v-deo.html&list=PLRp1vRfFTBDQWa_b1ff23KW9Xbvc4MnAV&index=9

Wondering the same thing! Anyone know how to deselect the floor so it doesn't show the blue points?
@@Nate_Pulse242 I assume you noticed that it seems to be just a stuck visual. Once you close and open it again, the blue dots go away.
Ahh...how do i make a sub region?
Can I use the same nodes and package for staircase?
I am totally new to Dynamo. I just downloaded it 2 days ago
Is it possible to do same for wall??
yes you can create R wall ...
SUPER helpful. Thank you SO much!

Did you Find any solution of it?
Hi, how can I download the "select model elements" node?
This node comes by default with Dynamo

Hi Hoang Ha,
I have the same problem and I was wondering if you managed to find a solution to this issue, it would be really helpful. Thank a lot.
Great, great tips... awesome...
for those who are getting the error message, failed to create geometry, increase the floor thickness.
gracias bro
Tried with revit 2020, with dynamo 0.9 and 2.0 i wasnt successful. Dynamo just crashes
it is so helpful
Nodes intimidate but it probably is logical once you get around to some of how it works.
Perfect!
sooooppppppeerrrrrrr
