As always, Super great review. I just got this F1Ultra today (we'll see how long before it's delivered). Thanks again for your thorough, genuine, and honest reviews!!
I don't know if it's because I haven't paid as much attention to the laser units out there, but the 3D metal engraving thing seems really unique and impressive. And I don't think it's just me when I say that the software really pushes the state of the art forward in terms of hobbyist/prosumer 3D laser cutting and engraving programs. Great video!
This video is detailed and useful! I'm curious to know if the F1 ultra can engrave up to 3mm deep on opaque white acrylic, and cut through 10mm of the same?
Brass is copper alloy so it should be fast too. Instead of chemical milling shim stock the laser would be less messy. Might not be as fast as chemical mass production but the conveyor belt and dual laser would be no mess small runs.
Nice review . Congratulations . So better buy xtool f1 with lower price . 3.899$ is so much for suchx camera and 0.5 lost on details. They have to update xtool f1 and ultra to make more useful and more easy software. Thanks my friend you have new subscriber 🤘
Nice review. I would have like to have seen if the conveyor is capable of going both directions if you have a longer piece you are working on instead of just for batch operations.
Laser engraver manufacturers are slowly crossing into industrial quality. X-Tool is an example of that.AB Laser in Bilarica,Ma has been making laser engravers since the 1980's. They used a krypton driven YAG laser using mirrors and galvanometers for the X and Y co-ordinates. These lasers costs around 100,000.00 dollars. I know this because I took a field trip there while I was in college for Laser Electro-Optics at STCC.
Another great review! One question though (from someone who doesn't run an engraver). Why do you need a machine with dual lasers? Seems like the fiber laser was more powerful and was more effective than the diode laser. Where would you be using one over the other?
Some materials can work with both lasers, but generally, fiber lasers work better on metals and plastics but not wood, whereas diode lasers excel with wood.
Dear Aurora, I wonder if the PCBs (printed circuit boards) can be made using the fiber laser. Would you like to test engraving copper? Thank you so much. Kind Regards, Pavel
I'm really interested in this laser, so was looking for some reviews. I came here with some trepidation because I read on another reviewer's comments that Aurora Tech removes negative comments, which was really a bummer because I held ths channel in high regard. I guess I'll find out if this removed or not.
If anyone has feedback or complaints about the products, the quality of my videos, or would like to point out any mistakes, you’re more than welcome to share. I don’t remove comments unless they are personal, offensive, racist, rude, or spam.
Seriously??? Who would be so incredibly stupid as to pay $4k for a DIODE laser????? At that price you can get much, much better low end pro lasers that will do so much more.

Another amazing review! That engraver is crazy. Being able to basically carve out aluminum is insane.
This channel always make the most complete reviews. Thanks
Absolutely incredible quality and user experience/workflow. Deserving of its premium price.

Very Impressive machine, thanks Miss Aurora.
The camera is so neat, but that alu cutting is crazy good
I always love your videos, very thorough.
The laser looks impressive, but the software is next-level - that will really separate x-tool from the crowd.
Looks great to me, another great review!
Looking forward to testing the leather^^
Excellent review and I sure want one!

Is it possible to make PCB ?
really wondering this -- would be a great usecase

Yes I’m working on making one, hopefully have a video soon. 💜
Awsome video, loved it. Do you have a video or somthing of that ekstra fan setup you used to blow away dust
Wow 😮 fantastic review of an amazing machine ☺️
GREAT VIDEO TY
Thanks for this one. Looking for the deluxe kit as soon as a sale price shows up.

Great detailed video
Great tuto, I,m looking for smeting fast and a smoke filter too
Nice review. I would have like to have seen if the conveyor is capable of going both directions if you have a longer piece you are working on instead of just for batch operations.
It moves in one direction and can handle objects up to 500mm in length.
Please test out the new Qidi Plus 4! Looking forward to your review. :)
Hi! Thank you for the review. Could you please tell me where can I find the fan which you used for the brass coin 3d engraving? Thanks
Did you test engraving with color on metal? The laser has adjustable frequency settings so this should be possible.

Hey @AuroraTech have you tried cutting 0.5mm stainless steel? Do you think this could work?
Another great review! One question though (from someone who doesn't run an engraver). Why do you need a machine with dual lasers? Seems like the fiber laser was more powerful and was more effective than the diode laser. Where would you be using one over the other?

Awesome content! Have you tried 5-axis machining?😀
Awesome review. Looks like a great piece of equipment. Wish I had a use for it where it would pay for itself, cause that price. Yikes.
The Bitcoin 3D engraving is amazing 🔥🔥
Good Job 👍
Have you two received the X-Plus 4 yet from Qidi?
Yes, coming up next.
@AuroraTech What Day??
Hello, nice review but why didnt you talk about steel?
R u going to get the new xtool p2 S laser machine
Not sure yet. We only have one final empty slot in 2024 and are still deciding.
If you wanna make some big extra money, use that laser to engrave firearms and firearms parts, it’s a huge aftermarket industry
QIDI Plus 4 review pls!
can you do anycubic kobra 2 neo?
Oooohhh i was so hoping on the review of the Xplus4..... 😇😇 Does it gonna be ready for Multicolor? 👹
Xplus4 is coming up next!
@@AuroraTech Is the review coming before the 20th? Or does all reviews come after the 20th?
This is pretty slick. Just out of the price range id pay for hobby though.
👍🏻👍🏻
bonjour hum cool j'ai deja la p2 et je pense a cette f1 merci
If you have ducting that can go outside I don't see a use for that massive purifier.
The Lazer seems very good. That price is out of a lot of people's budget unfortunately
Very helpful. but I wish you wouldn't fast forward through your settings - that is what I came here to see.
You can find all settings here:

@@AuroraTech Thank you very much!
They should've sent you this 2 months ago, I might have bought this instead.

amazing machine. disappointed by the generative ai crap though. always nice to have a feature that opens you up for a copyright lawsuit :/

It's a 20W FIBER and 20W DIODE dual laser.
