Koksijde Station Level Crossing

Monday May 20 2024 at 14.05. The 13.52 De Panne to somewhere train. It only had two sections instead of the usual three which suggests it wasn't going to the usual place. The video starts with a good view of the station. Note that unlike in the UK, people can climb on to the platform from the level crossing if they wish. Certainly nothing is done to deter them. Also there are no written signs of any sort. No threats of fines, no anti trespass boarding. The road (the N8) was busy so, unfortunately, I couldn't get very close to the crossing but the Ambulance drove down the central bus lane as did a BMW later on. The pattern of the ambulances flashing lights seems unusual.
