Doesn’t look like anyone caught it but the metal gear version is actually one of the rare launch edition. The word molybdenum is mispelled on the consoles. They later corrected it. So that kinda makes it more rare. So kudos to you.

Haha I used to be the manager at a CeX store in California. There was a US attempt that failed. All of the stores closed, but it’s always nice to see CeX stores pop up in videos every so often. Such a fun job.

Try the UK. They're everywhere here now, don't know how long they been going here but it's a pleasure to walk round them on a Saturday afternoon.

I recently bought the 500 Million PS4 Pro for £300 on eBay although just came with the console and controller. Absolute beauty of a console though.

15:42 if you haven't figured it out yet, I would say that screw looks like it's the hard drive bracket fastener given how big the head the screw is.
It's a solid confirm if the four button logos are etched onto the top of the screw head, just need to open the flannel covering the hard drive bracket & screw it back in.

Man that 20th anniversary edition PS4. I remember I was in my local tech store around the time and they had probably 6-8 of them there. I just didn't bother checking online how limited those were, because I would have bought all of them lol.

Just want to point one issue I had out about the the 20th anniversary PS4 because I believe you missed it, the "2" engraved into the PS4 is directly beside the "O" which I'm sure is intentionally done to commemorate the 20th anniversary edition. 😅 Just throwing that in there other than that pretty cool systems here thanks bud definitely got a like from me..

As someone that has been visiting CeX since the first ever store opened off Tottenham Court Road (as well as being the manager of the retro department at the Rathbone Place CeX store for a year) I can clarify it was always pronounced as 'cee-ee-x' originally not 'sex'. That's a marketing thing in more recent years. Their public WiFi in-store is named "Unprotected CeX".

The 500 million edition is by far my favorite, and with everything that's include an antegrity I can't believe you done it for 850. I would have probably paid $12 for it just to get it here, would have done a hard drive upgrade and cherished it and used it and repaired it when it failed. I have a PS5 disc edition, and I love it but I don't know if they're going to do all of the same special editions that they did with the ps4. And having the case off of the ps5, I don't think it would look good translucent anyway. I think the PS4 pro looks way better than any other PlayStation ever made in the translucent design on that one is awesome

As for the common statement hat some of the numbers are ultra rare, they are unique numbers. Especially as the 'special' numbers are based on a MM/DD format that many parts of the world do not use,.and those dates were for USA launch dates, irrelevant to most of the rest of the world

I have the ps4 500 million + ps3 80 GB backwards compatible. That's enough for me! This video was great! I must say locally the anniversary edition is way more expensive and pricier than the 500 million so It was refreshing to see your thoughts on what tanks as rarest

@@Kenneth-bm5zr I lost my PS3 60gb launch to the red light last year. Had that thing through thick and thin and did so much with it and not just gaming. Silver lining to this is I purchased a Test PS3 for $300 with all the Dev debug software and then went on to add CFW to it and couldn’t be happier

I wouldn’t say their the coolest I own them also they were great once in their time but when you got the Spider-Man PS4 that’s all red with Spider-Man on there with 1TB it’s the Pro version that’s the one I would call the coolest PS4 console you do know some of the consoles you have are from Japan not in your region so your controllers might expect you to press the O button instead of the X button the sad thing is you can’t play PS5 games on the PS4 console but you can play next gen games on the Xbox one like deathloop
Save your money their not worth what people are asking for these days you can buy the best graphics cards if you got a PC Steam has every game more games then anyone you can buy a new PC for $5000 with the 4090 graphics card then go buy the PS4 that’s no longer the most powerful PlayStation console you can’t even change the graphics card in the PS4 console you can’t play next gen games Spider-Man 2 and Wolverine to big games coming next year on the PS4 cause the PS4 is dead next year

CEX is actually a really good shop. There’s one in Inverness, near where I live. We call it C. E. X. Though, just to avoid confusion. 😅
8:54 Yes, PS4 version is running at a locked 60 FPS, the game is also on PS3 and Xbox 360 and also ran at 60 FPS there but there were drops there compared to the locked 60 on PS4.
I bought a 500 million console a few months back boxed with everything plus an additional 500 million blue controller for £375. It's the best looking console I own, and is a must for anyone that loves transparent tech!!
Cex is a trusted shop that sells gaming equipment and games and other stuff like movies, they have a condition list if it has an A after it it's mint condition (or near mint aka having all parts like box and manual and undamaged) and B is good condition which means it's either slightly cosmetic damage (not to noticeable) or it just doesnt have box but C is working condition so this is guaranteed to be damaged but only cosmetic (A is going to be more expensive than B and C ofc)
I actually have the days of PlayStation blue edition and still game on it currently as I’ve not been able to afford anything better.

That wasn't a random screw, that's the screw to install the stand
And there's no such thing as "PS4 camera 2" the camera is redesigned to match the look of new playstation 4 like the rest of the accessories, the fat PS4 was glossy and with sharp corners but the slim and pro were mat finished with round corners that's why you have a tube shaped camera. (they also changed the DS4 controllers and move controllers and PSVR processor unit to match the new look)
