Everything seems to work ok but when I use Sirius app while using Waze the audio keeps fading in and out and it is always louder than the turn by turn directions given by Waze so I can't hear the directions. It has to be the USB connection that is connected with your car screen. In some cars you have multiple usb slots but only one is connected to the screen and the rest are only for charging

Can you test the next track and google assistant buttons on the steering wheel for android auto. When you test volume button, you are only changing the car stereo volumes has nothing to do with AA.
I played music and it was working perfectly, I was able to change tracks using the steering controls as well as using google assistant. It was also able to read my messages and compose new messages

Not a good buy. I purchased a T box and it never connects to CarPlay. I end up restarting the vehicle couple of times to connect. Also it gets disconnected frequently. Manufacturer is giving software updates which is not exactly helping. Steering wheel controls on Toyota Fortuner is also not compatible with this.

When you play music on the app like Spotify, there is no lag at lag, its instant and you can use the steering controls to skip songs. On UA-cam, I did notice a very slight lag.

You will have to disconnect the phoone first and then ocnnect the other phone. No, it does not auto connect to the other phone. It only auto connects to the last phone connected.

Honestly, I dont think you can connect two adapters at the same time as most cars have one usb port that is connect to the system. What you can do is have two adapters, one for iphone and the other for android, and you plug in the one that you want to use, it will be simply a matter of plugging in the adapter

I haven't tried Apple carplay yet, but the Android Auto doesn't work right on my screen. I have a 2018 Lincoln Navigator & it looks like the update version of Android Auto, but the screen is cut off on the right side & the top. When I use the USB to connect it, it will work fine, but it's back to the old version. I don't get it. Smh...

I received this product today. I had a issue at 1st getting it to connect but then it connected. But it never worked properly and then my Audi's screens went totally blank. I unplugged the Carlinkit and boxed it up to return to Amazon. Not sure how often that happens bit not gonna take a chance having a 100.00 box screw up my car👎
There is a pretty complicated procedure to follow to update the device (you have to connect to the device’s SSID with your phone, type the device’s address in the browser, then check for updates several times). People who followed this procedure (even on previous generation devices) report success. For many, this is not an out of the box solution and the fact that it APPARENTLY does a simple thing does not mean it is. That is why CarPlay wireless costs significantly more.

Reset the device and restart your iPhone, it should solve the problem. Its an iPhone issue, I have the same iPhone 12

To be honest, when I tested this device, it did not give me any of these issues, in fact I tested it for an extended period, It worked perfectly.

No, you dont have to necessarily have mobile data ON for everything, you just need it for things like navigation and online music etc

You will have to disconnect the phoone first and then ocnnect the other phone. No, it does not auto connect to the other phone. It only auto connects to the last phone connected.

Honestly, I dont think you can connect two adapters at the same time as most cars have one usb port that is connect to the system. What you can do is have two adapters, one for iphone and the other for android, and you plug in the one that you want to use, it will be simply a matter of plugging in the adapter

I haven't tried Apple carplay yet, but the Android Auto doesn't work right on my screen. I have a 2018 Lincoln Navigator & it looks like the update version of Android Auto, but the screen is cut off on the right side & the top. @@iTzJOHnNyY It does not work with my BMW which is wireless only. If your car has a dedicated USB port for carplay it should work. My car has USB charging ports that do nothing but charge the device. Hopefully that answers your question.

I received this product today. I had a issue at 1st getting it to connect but then it connected. But it never worked properly and then my Audi's screens went totally blank. I unplugged the Carlinkit and boxed it up to return to Amazon. Not sure how often that happens bit not gonna take a chance having a 100.00 box screw up my car👎

There is a pretty complicated procedure to follow to update the device (you have to connect to the device’s SSID with your phone, type the device’s address in the browser, then check for updates several times). People who followed this procedure (even on previous generation devices) report success. For many, this is not an out of the box solution and the fact that it APPARENTLY does a simple thing does not mean it is. That is why CarPlay wireless costs significantly more.
