  • I forgot to mention a major upgrade to the interior is the bed.
I purchased a queen short mattress with inner springs and a pillow top. Your mattress is in a box from Amazon.
I also purchased a RV recliner, which easily fits between bed and kitchen cabinet area. Great for relaxing with feet up.

We’re looking at a 2025 17R.. I’m scared to death of the wall mounted AC units and have read all the horror stories about them. What has your experience been with it? We live in Indiana and it gets very humid here in the summer!
    Thank you.. great upgrades!

Hi, i have not experienced any water on my bed or water leaving stains outside on the aluminum from the runoff of condensation from the A/C that is wall mounted in my 2024 17R.
I also believe that there are several great fixes to solve the " wet bed " problem. And i say, if it's on the bed, then it can get into the walls, floors and cause mildew, damages to insulation, and to structure as in flooring partical board and the wall finish plywood.
For the value of this camp trailer, though, i would think it isn't unreasonable for anyone to try some of these "fixes".
I have ran my a/c 24/7 at camp parks for the full week and no water issues inside or out.

What year is yours? I have a 2019 17fq bunk house floor plan. I love mine but your videos are giving me great ideas. Thank you.

      This is a 2024 i bought Sept of 2023.
I needed a simple trailer to use for off grid building on my off grid properties, and a easy to haul unit for local trips to family reunions, fishing and general crash pad for some weddings this summer, and next year, where i may not be in fair shape to drive. I won't risk a DUI on my CDL class A license.

How did you add the tv I would like to add one in my camper

      Hello!
I can tell you that the Coleman Lantern 17R has a plywood block, located at the top of the wall, just below where the ceiling electrical outlet is.
The tv can not be very large screen. The frame is not designed for more than the weight of a 32 - inch tv.
I bought an ONN wall mount TV bracket from Walmart. The bracket was sized to fit up to a 32-inch TV. Says so on the box.
With that ONN bracket. I took the parts that bolt to the TV of the bracket and installed them.
My TV, i purchased at Wal-Mart, it is the 24-inch Vizio Smart Tv.
The wall bracket will clip onto the tv bracket to get a measurement of overall height from top of tv to top of the wall bracket.
Use that measurement to place the wall bracket onto the wall.
I let the bracket down 3 inches so the tv cleared the ceiling.
I mounted the wall bracket. Then, attach the tv bracket into the wall mount.
The plywood backer that is behind the grey finished paneling is not all the way down the wall. If you look at the paneling, up close, you can see the nail putty they used to fill in the staple and nail holes. That is where a wall stud of the frame is located. I did make sure i centered the large screws that i mounted the wall bracket with, into the frame behind the paneling. That plywood is ultra thin, less than 1/8 inch thick. You will know if you miss the stud or the backer. Easily patch errant holes with grey putty.
Hope that helps you install yours.
