when finding LFT don't we always take the minimum value? so there are two activities happening there at 6:43 that is 5 to 2 and 4 to 2, 5to2 = 13, but 4to2= 11 and it's lower value so wouldn't we take it?
Because it make sense..jaisa forward process gya tha waisa hi backward jana chahiye and mam ne wo 2-4 wali line calculate nai kri jisse 11 Aa rha h minimum.. Ya to esa ho skta ki aage jake wo 11 - 13 krke - 2 ho rha hoga islie nai lia..?? Somebody clear me plz😭
On the critical path i.e 1-2-5, there will be no float. Because it is already taking the maximum time, we cannot shift the start or finish without adversly affecting the end time i.e 28 . Hence logically the EST and LFT will be the same.
Simple and great teaching. I never understood clearly this topic either during my college days or during my service till today. You made so clear . Thank You Madam.
had an exam today, watched this video yesterday with 0 prior knowledge and still managed to nail these problems correctly. Great Video, Came back here to say Thank You!
thanks dear porf god blees you two days i was watching the different videos related to this lecture. fortunately your lecture solved my problems in 10 minutes .
Mam at last 4-5 activity total float value of if we do lft-eft I.e 28-22 we are getting 4 and if we are doing lst-est i.e, 26-20 we are getting 6. So as you said both have to get same values So please qualify my doubt mam
How do i calculate when activities overlap for example; 4 activities: - activity 1 takes 12 weeks - activity 2 takes 7 weeks but can start 4 weeks early in parallel to activity 1 - activity 3 takes 7 weeks but can start 1 week early in parallel to activity 2 - activity 4 takes 7 weeks but can start 3 weeks early in parallel to activity 3 i'm struggling to find the late start, float and late end as i keep getting minus?
Watched so many vedeos regarding free float, total float, indipendent float. But can't get it untill I see ur vedeo. Finally I understand this topic. Thank you for your excellent explonation.

426 k engineers after getting a came here to learn this includes me
for backward pass at step 2 , 26-15 = 11 is minimum , compared to 28-15= 13
So what did you take 11 or 13??
Because it make sense..jaisa forward process gya tha waisa hi backward jana chahiye and mam ne wo 2-4 wali line calculate nai kri jisse 11 Aa rha h minimum.. Ya to esa ho skta ki aage jake wo 11 - 13 krke - 2 ho rha hoga islie nai lia..?? Somebody clear me plz😭
