I've owned my 69 CJ5 V6 for 38 years. I still smile whenever I drive it. I restored all of the running gear and put a fiberglass body on it. You may want to consider a Saginaw steering box while you're trying to figure out your front frame repair. I,ll be curious to see whats going on with the transfer case. I wonder if someone tried to replace it with a Dana 18 small hole. The Dauntless models used the large hole Dane 18.
Here's a real Jeep guy, didn't care if he got "stuff" sprayed on the vehicle next to the CJ, more important to get the frame clean. Friends will desert you, boss's will fire you, women will leave you, Jeeps are forever.
I have the same cj5 and saw in your video that you have the large case Dana 18 with single shift output selector for 2/4wd and was wondering if you could send me a picture of what ear on the frame of the output connects too. Mine just has the hole in the ear and doesn’t connect to anything. I’m sure it was lost many years ago. I can send picture if you want. Just need a little help to get configuration right to a bracket made. Any help is appreciated

Had a 1973 cj5 with a 304 in it had a lot of fun with it a little chilly in the winter sorry I ever sold it
